3 months(!) spent trying to get in touch regarding a piece of land that we would like to buy. We are not called back, despite multiple requests for callbacks. After 2 months, an amount is suddenly mentioned by the real estate agent, which in a subsequent conversation with another employee turns out not to be possible/allowed. We politely stated on the phone that we find it very annoying that we hear nothing back each time, but still are not called back. Abysmal communication...

Tienus Evenhuis has guided us as a real estate agent perfectly. Originally, we are not from this (beautiful) region, which has some specific characteristics in terms of the housing market. There is a lot of self-built homes of varying quality. Real estate agents/homeowners do not always play open cards. When we showed interest in a home in Aalden, we encountered exactly this situation. We decided to involve Tienus and have no regrets about that decision. In a complicated purchase process, Tienus remained calm and wise. Thanks to him, we reached an agreement on a lower purchase price than we could have managed ourselves. Tienus supported us in a pleasant and professional manner, also in the process after the purchase.

First I could get answers everywhere. He came himself to my home to explain everything. Very satisfied. Further no problem.

Our experience with Tienus Evenhuis of Makelaardij Emmen was very disappointing. During the sales process, certain things were concealed (for example: there were garbage bags in the crawl space with dry yellow sand on top, so it looks as if the crawl space is dry, which was not the case) which gave us little confidence in the honesty towards the buyers. My father came along to view the purchased property and has been a carpenter; he included this in the purchase agreement to protect himself and the sellers should any defects come to light. The roof of the property stated on funda that it was a tiled roof, and if the broker asks about it, you get no answer. This is probably because it's a slate roof laid around 1990 and may contain asbestos. Communication was also deficient: we had to remind him ourselves whether a final inspection would take place. The sellers (80+) are completely in the dark and were very poorly informed about this fact by the broker. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Makelaardij Emmen. I believe that this broker damages the NVM title; we have quite some experience with brokers, but have never experienced anything like this. Unfortunately, I cannot place this review on funda because you need to receive an invitation from the broker for that, so take the rating on funda with a grain of salt.

The second time we have bought a home with Makelaardij Emmen and would recommend it to everyone. Pleasant, accessible communication which suited us very well, giving us great confidence in them. Tienus and Arina, thank you so much!

Appearances can be deceiving. After initially reaching a mutually accepted bid through the 'normal' process of drawing lots/bidding, the purchase of a house in Meppen was cancelled at the end of January 2019 by the selling party via this real estate agent. No reason given. Cancelled on Saturday afternoon at 5:45 p.m. after approximately 10 days of verbal agreement had been reached. Appointments were made for Monday and Tuesday with a technical inspector and appraiser. Final damage amount >Eur. 1000,-. And all this with the knowledge of this real estate agent who did not hear back regarding compensation for inspection/appraisal costs. Legally, no recourse is possible. Standards of decency trampled upon. A stain on the profession of a real estate agent. A real estate agent who has told the better-bidding buyer that he has resolved 'tricky cases' with potential buyers in a very friendly, expert manner. NOT SO. A real estate agent with a double agenda. Reviews on Funda are only reserved for 'invitees', which is why this review was posted through this channel. Reviews on Funda should therefore be taken with a grain of salt.

Through reputable brokers a recreational property sold in Gramsbergen. If, during negotiation, their commission is threatened because the sale may not proceed, the broker should listen to the conditions/interests of the buyer. Especially considering the currently high fixed commission for the Hooge Holt homes, you would expect otherwise.

Real estate agent B. Trip is a good real estate agent for us. Both for purchase, sale and now for an appraisal report. He acts quickly, correctly and does business fairly. Should we ever take a real estate agent again, it will definitely be Trip Wonen.

Class 1 nitpicker. Activated re: purchase appraisal for obtaining a mortgage. Description of the property in his appraisal report appears to be another house, with extra rooms. The home is more than 50% equipped with plastic window frames, HR++ glass, 100% roof insulation and 100% facade insulation. According to the report, none of that is present in the home! Invoices for the insulation are notably in possession. Ultimately, it is mentioned in the 4th (!!!) report. Trip does nothing structurally, only wants to quickly make money by blindly taking over the purchase price as an 'assessed' value with the practiced eye. For the condition of the property, Trip refers to 'having heard that the buyer engaged an expert', the expert was simply a friend with some basic knowledge of construction. In my opinion, it is precisely the task of the appraiser to himself form an opinion on the condition of the property. Outdated real estate agent who delivers sloppy work and does not communicate at all. His website speaks of expertise, reliability and carefulness. Mr. Trip takes a few photos, blindly accepts the purchase price and produces a report full of errors including 6 reference objects 'of which all 6 cannot be used as references'. Hopeless quality at an excessively high rate. Advice: better to engage a competent real estate agent with a decent and also representative portfolio.

Due to the purchase of a property in a region different from the mortgage provider, we had to arrange an appraiser ourselves. Because the financing needs to be finalized shortly, multiple real estate agencies were approached regarding availability and price quotes. Not only does BeTrip offer a good price, but the appraisal was also carried out super quickly. Usually, the appraisal is the bottleneck when applying for a mortgage, but the appraisal was completed within a timeframe of 2/3 days from request to delivery of the appraisal report. Furthermore, I thought I had incorrectly submitted the application to NWWI. The appraiser quickly reviewed this and answered my questions. In short, a huge compliment to this real estate agency. Very satisfied!
