Never experienced such a bad real estate agent before. They are late for viewings, the viewing is quickly handled, and you receive little to no correct information. Emails you send are forgotten to be read and answered. Promising to call back doesn't happen either. The only thing they are quick with is getting a signature for the invoice. If you are moving to Germany, do not use this real estate agent.

Nicolien is very friendly but otherwise the communication with the office was a bit poor. There is 1 office employee responsible for houses in Germany and they are only available once a day, which meant I sometimes had to wait a long time for an answer. After discussing this, the problem was understood and they will ensure that at least responses are provided. A message saying 'the employee who handles this will reply tomorrow' is already 100 times better than no response

You don't even need to make an appointment with Venhorst Makelaardij. On the day you go to view, they call you off to say that the house has already been sold subject to contract. This is now the 3rd time they have done this. You get no chance to view a property that has just come on the market. I do not recommend this realtor to anyone.😡 …

Hi Paula, we understand that it's very frustrating when this has happened to you several times. You certainly get the chance, however, the seller determines when and to whom they sell the property. And due to the shortage in the housing market, there is more demand than supply, which makes things particularly difficult for buyers. Again, super frustrating for you! Top realtor! The seller sold the house through this realtor. I sold my own house through a different realtor but I would have benefited more from Venhorst than from my own realtor. Should I ever move again, this house will be for sale through this realtor!

We had an appointment for a house. We had driven far (1.5 hours one way). Once arrived, we were told that the asking price had been increased and that we would have to pay at least extra. Moreover, the property was not available in the short term, as stated in the advertisement, but not until 5 months later. The real estate agent made his excuses and offered to reimburse the fuel costs, but we never received it. Not professional!

Venhorst is a broker who is not trustworthy. 1. He does not keep appointments. 2. He promises you 2 rental properties, which he cannot fulfill. 3. He presents himself as a purchase and sale broker, which is not allowed according to the guidelines of NVM. 4. He comes with an iPad where you sign for the selling price. And afterwards, additional disadvantageous costs arise.

I had some essential questions that (especially in Germany) determine whether a horse farm can be kept profitable. These questions were neither answered beforehand by phone, nor by email, not even during (despite repeated requests) the viewing. Because this involves a considerable investment, we have therefore refrained from making an offer. These questions could simply have been coordinated with the owner beforehand.

Owner calls people later in the evening to persuade them to sell their house with him if they already have a realtor and everything is already arranged, and this conversation is quite pushy. The gentleman also visits people who already have another realtor to convince them. This is quite unprofessional and comes across as very sad. Begging for clients.. Stop that.
