As the selling party, you may benefit more from this broker. For me and my partner, however, it was very unpleasant and we would strongly advise against this broker to any buyer. The initial contact during the viewing was good. We got the impression that we were dealing with a capable broker. This immediately turned around after we had a verbal agreement following an offer and a counteroffer. The verbal agreement proved to be worthless. Despite an agreement, we just couldn't get the purchase agreement. This dragged on and on. We had all our affairs in order and called for the umpteenth time as to where the agreement was. It would take longer because the list of items (that were to be taken over) was not yet complete. Two weeks later, however, we realized that it was a stalling tactic; we got the broker on the phone: 'oh yes, I wanted to call you. Another bid has come in and the seller wants to go for it. You can still buy the house, but then you must let us know by 15:00 this afternoon whether you want to increase your offer by 10,000 euros'. ... what?! If van Vulpen were affiliated with the NVM, they would be kicked out because this is not allowed. However, they are not, so it only shows that they lack a sense of professional ethics. Nevertheless, we agreed to this dubious situation and subsequently received the purchase contract 'urgently'. After that, it was also difficult to get in touch with questions; matters for which we needed the selling broker were left unattended. Despite promises to investigate or follow up, we remained knocking on their door without result. Buying a house is one of the biggest steps in a person's life. For us, this leaves a sour taste due to this broker. It has caused us particular anger and stress (besides costing us an extra sum of money). If we ever make the choice to move, we will choose an NVM sales broker and will not buy any more property through van Vulpen.

Amazing what she has done and does for us, and we already have the keys. From Zwolle, the distance to Krommenie is great, a key reason for us to hire a buyer's agent. Bert van Vulpen came out well in the messages on the internet, plus they were simply open on Saturday afternoon at 5:20 PM (!!) , during open house day, the day we found our house. Later it turned out that they are open every Saturday until 5:30 PM and four evenings a week until 9:00 PM !! From the moment we walked in, it felt right. We were warmly welcomed by Denise. We told her what we roughly wanted, and she clearly explained to us what Bert van Vulpen real estate agents could do for us. The following Monday, Sabine Denkers called, and from that moment on, she was our purchasing agent (and more than that). Every appointment made was kept, we received a lot of information about Krommenie, about companies we might need when renovating, about education, appraisers who we should or shouldn't ask, as well as technical building inspection. A very complete picture. Most importantly, of course, was the purchase and she presented it very sharply.
