Due to the incorrect actions of another broker and consequently a long vacancy period for our two properties, we chose to assign the task to VDH Makelaars. We certainly do not regret this! Jordy and his team arrange the rental well and quickly found a tenant for our property. They are also familiar with regulations and with a market-conforming rent. Communication could (in our opinion) be somewhat better, but is sufficient for the purpose. They can also take care of the management so you don't have to arrange much yourself (if you wish). I have been renting out my property for over 10 years now and have had several long-term tenants, all of whom have proven to be good. The settlements are always on time and mediation between tenant and landlord works well. I am not able to visit regularly to check and it turns out that is not necessary at all. I can recommend VDH to anyone as an intermediary for the rental of a property.

I advise against entering into a contract with this real estate agency and making any appointments. They are unreliable, dishonest, do not keep their word; they assured me that I could move into the apartment one day and the next refused, leaving us with a major problem. If anyone wants proof, email me.

This company is just a big scam!! Don't trust them!! We rent an apartment from them, the apartment had no double glazing (which was promised to be replaced) and also problems with water and heat retention in the apartment due to poor installation. When we moved out, we left the apartment in perfect condition, which was confirmed by the signature of the real estate agent on the last day. After signing the final contract and waiting for the deposit, the real estate agent started giving us a number of sympathetic reasons why we wouldn't get our money back and he did it on the very last day of his deadline! He is trying to charge us for VVE costs, which cannot be legally claimed if you don’t notify us within 6 months and these were also not included in our contract! He also said that he would give us some money back from the deposit, but of course he couldn't make it on time and transfer less than what was said!! I regret renting an apartment from him and I do NOT recommend them unless you want to fight to get your money back.

We rented the apartment for a year, after leaving the apartment he refuses to pay the deposit, he keeps asking and then tells some crazy reason that I have to pay for gas, electricity and water, which I told in the contract, including everything. Never go to this rental company, I heard from most of my friends and the reviews on Facebook and Google, now I realize that I made a big mistake by renting this apartment and my hard-earned money is gone.

I rented a rental property and an apartment, initially they agreed to provide it for 1350 euros with furniture, but during the signing of the contract they mentioned 1550 euros and said that it would include electricity, gas and water. They did not deliver the furniture, and while I was moving out of the flat, they charged me again for water and electricity. From day one they are cheating on everything. If you are an expat, never rent from them. when I asked to transfer the deposit, they disagreed to pay the deposit. and I inquired with the previous tenant, he also experienced the same thing.

SCAM!! DON'T SEND THEM MONEY!! They are asking for a deposit BEFORE they sign the contract! And they want the money to be sent via bank transfer. When I asked to meet them at their office or at the accommodation, they first said it was okay, but when I asked when we could meet, they only said that they wanted the deposit via bank transfer the same day (still without signing the contract). When they realized that I hadn't sent them the money before signing the contract and meeting with them and seeing the keys to the apartment, they said that the owner was not happy and decided to move on with other candidates. Be careful and don’t send them any money until you meet them and see the keys to the apartment!
