Always had friendly contact with this real estate agency. Contact proceeded smoothly via email without any hassle. Edit: The above review (four stars) was at the time of renting the property. That process indeed went well and with good communication. Meanwhile, I have been living in a complex by Van der Linden for a year and a half, and I would no longer give four stars. Van der Linden is only motivated to earn as much money as possible, with as little work as possible. A true property boss. The rents are enormously high and are increased every year by the maximum legal percentage. This without anything improving the living conditions/property. It's allowed according to the law, so it’s done. Furthermore, complaints from residents are standardly not answered, denied, or countered with vague arguments, resulting in nothing changing and problems remaining. For example, I recently had a significant leak in my tap, where liters of water flowed over my floor every day. When I then indicate this as a repair, it is dismissed as a minor leak, which falls under personal responsibility, so at your own expense. Again; it’s allowed according to the law, so it’s done. In short: if you have the choice, look for another landlord! It will save you a lot of money and frustration.

I have never spoken to such unfriendly people as at van der Linden makerlaardij. You are sent from the desk to the wall. The employees promise to call back while they don't do it. I am currently 20 weeks pregnant and have never had so much stress as in the last few days. We were supposed to get a house at the Olympiade complex, and we submitted an older version of the employer's statement because I am pregnant and have been working less; that escaped my notice. A colleague indicates that we have until 5:00 PM to send the correct one, and sure enough, we are called to say that the property has been rented out. The employees who work at van der Linden all have a roof over their heads themselves and have not a speck of empathy. I have been to the hospital three times this week due to all the stress I have received from how you treat potential renters. I am going to make further work of this, because this is not how you deal with people, especially not with a pregnant woman. I hope you sleep well tonight, because thanks to you my family cannot live together, thank you!

Hello, please pay close attention with these people, we have been renting a house from them for 20 years. Very little maintenance is done on these houses in the Willembontekoestraat. We have a leak in the living room, a serious leak. A man came to look at it and he said it was the drain pit, to which I replied that's not possible because nothing goes through there and it keeps leaking. I said the water pipe in the floor is leaking. Ultimately, after 5 weeks, an external company determined that it was the pipe in the floor, which is what I had been saying all along, but Linden’s people wouldn’t listen. Now the damage is so great that our ceiling is completely saturated with moisture and there's black mold on the wall, which is very dangerous. If those fools had listened earlier, it could have been limited. It’s a very bad company, Linden; they simply don’t listen to residents.
