It concerned a recreational property with the obligation of another year's rental. To our surprise, and also that of the real estate agent, the banks therefore only wanted to grant a low mortgage. Apparently, they cannot distinguish between a rented property and a holiday home that is rented out periodically. As a result, many potential buyers had to drop out, which naturally influenced the final price.
