(Farm with catering facility) After posting on funda and our own website, 9 viewings were scheduled within 1 week! Although the first bid was somewhat low (the asking price), the broker still managed to convince us to accept this offer. When it became complicated with a buyer who did not fulfill his obligations, his knowledge proved insufficient and he was also not motivated to obtain the necessary information. Due to his blundering and mistakes, we as sellers ended up in a legally very complex situation and even had to hire a lawyer. We withdrew the assignment from Het Betere Boerenerf to limit further damage and risks and nevertheless paid him the previously agreed salary. After that, we sold the house independently. Apparently not hindered by any shame or decency, he still sent us an invoice with the full commission, as if the work had been done by him. In the meantime, we were so exhausted by all the misery that we only wanted peace and agreed to a settlement. More than a year ago, we sold our farmhouse through Het Betere Boerenerf. We asked for quotes from several real estate agents at the time and ultimately chose this agency despite it being the most expensive. This led us to expect that we would be fully taken care of and provided with all advice. Unfortunately, that has not been the case. We were confronted with a hefty fine because Het Betere Boerenerf did not mention the energy label back then. We raised this issue with Het Betere Boerenerf. Long story short: they are unresponsive. The fine is for us. In short, an expensive real estate agency but the added value escapes us. A small follow-up: the realtor contacted us long after this review. He stated that his response was delayed because he first had to recover from such a review. Furthermore, his reaction was the same as with other negative reviews I find on the site. Namely, it's the customer’s fault and certainly not Het Betere Boerenerf’s. Moreover, he does want satisfied customers but only when the bill is with the customer and remains with the customer.

We have no positive experience with this real estate agent. We were interested in a house and both fairly free from work to attend a viewing appointment. Unfortunately, there was traffic along the way. We called the real estate agent to see if we could arrive later and they said it probably would be possible. I indicated that I would prefer to know beforehand if we couldn't come, so we could turn around in time and go home. No, it probably would be possible. Ultimately, we were called and told that the real estate agent had to go home after all. In the meantime, we had been on our way for 1.5 hours (with another 30 minutes to go) and could make a U-turn and drive back for 1.5 hours. Of course, I understand that they can't wait for us forever, but they should have said that earlier, because we already knew there would be traffic at the time of departure (via Google Maps!) and we had called immediately. We are really frustrated by this! Especially the lack of clear communication! This costs us time and (fuel) money!
