Communication at the beginning went smoothly. The appraiser walked through and examined the entire property. Unfortunately, some errors appeared in the report that could have been avoided if the report had been made available for review. However, downright disappointing was that due to 'file errors' the report was not sent out in time. Only after our complaint did we receive the report: 3.5 weeks after the appraisal!

We sold our house in Nijmegen through them last summer and looking back, we are very satisfied with Guus (and Diana) as selling agents. They can respond quickly, have (connections with) a very professional photographer, and knew how to properly value our property. Regarding prior agreements, Guus was very flexible, and his telephone availability for questions was also good. Guus is extremely correct in separating his interests as a sales and purchase broker; this is commendable. We found the brokerage fees for the sale of our house to be market-conform. Guus has also given us service tips and advice for the purchase of our current home (in another area). All in all, our experience with Basten Makelaardij is that they deliver good work and stand up for their clients, and they are very friendly (and absolutely not 'smooth' like some other agents). We can therefore wholeheartedly recommend them!

People, don't have the valuation of your home carried out here if you also want to include a valuation after renovation. Less than half the cost of what needed to be done was included in the assessed value. Afterwards, we heard from several estate agents that they definitely would not have recommended having the valuation done through here. I therefore advise against it. It is better to pay a little more for a good valuation, we unfortunately had to find out.

Contact verliep soepel en duidelijk. Er is rekening gehouden met mijn specifieke wensen. Als het mij toch niet lukt om op tijd mijn huis foto klaar te maken. Heb ik dit aangegeven en was dat geen probleem en is er een andere optie ingezet. Deze verkoop heeft mij hierdoor geen stress opgeleverd. Snel contact bij vragen via Whatsapp vond ik prettig. Korte snelle contacten en afspraken gaf hierdoor geen problemen. Ik ben gehoord en ondersteund en hierdoor heb ik geen stress ondervo…

Wij zijn op leeftijd en het was zo'n 40 jaar geleden dat wij ons op de huizenmarkt hadden begeven. Alle hulp was dus welkom en die hebben we ook gekregen. Wij zijn zeer tevreden. Zowel over de aankoopbegeleiding, als over de verkoop van onze woning.

Ik heb een ontzettend slechte ervaring gehad gedurende 2024 met Irene van het Makelaarshuys. Ik wilde mijn huis eins 2024 / begin 2025 verkopen, echter adviseerde Irene mij om dit z.s.m. te doen en niet te wachten. Ik heb hierop vooraf mijn situatie besproken, dat ik tijdens de bezichtigingen en biedingen dan in het buitenland zou verblijven. Dit zou allemaal geen enkel probleem zijn, en juist handig uitkomen omdat het huis dan leeg en schoon zou zijn. Echter was de communicatie vanuit Irene puur reactief, ik moest notabene zelf vragen hoe bezichtingen waren gegaan, of er potentiële biedingen zouden zijn etc. Bezichtingen worden enkel gepland als het de makelaar uitkomt, en anders komen ze op een reservelijst te staan. Ook wanneer er geen biedingen zijn, wordt deze werkwijze gehanteerd, hierdoor heb ik het gevoel gekregen geïnteresseerden kwijt te raken. Ik heb dan uiteindelijk ook slechts 1 bod gehad op mijn woning. Ik heb over het geheel meermaals mijn teleurstelling uitgesproken en gevraagd om een passende oplossing, waarna ik werd gewezen op het feit dat ik er zelf voor kies om in het buitenland te verblijven tijdens de verkoop en ik naar mijn eigen handelen zou moeten kijken. Teleurstelling is een understatement van mijn ervaring met het Makelaarshuys en 1 ster is eigenlijk nog teveel voor de dienstverlening die ik heb ontvangen van Irene.

Lezers doen er verstandig aan hier kritisch naar te kijken en zich niet te laten misleiden door deze praktijk.

Wij zijn op leeftijd met een gehoorbeperking en het is 40 jaar geleden dat we een woning kochten. Het team van Het Makelaarshuys heeft ons zowel met de aankoopbegeleiding als de verkoop van onze woning, fantastisch doorheen geloodst.

Voor Irene en haar fantastische en enthousiaste team is geen actie te veel. Communicatie loopt vlot, soepel en duidelijk. Als extraatje helpen zij mij, na mijn flitsend snelle verkoop, ook nog eens met de aankoop van een volgend huis en staat er een gratis verhuiswagen klaar. Bob was zo vriendelijk om op het laatste moment ruimte te maken om mee te gaan kijken bij een appartement dat ik op het oog had. The employees of Gelsing Makelaardij in Nijmegen are extremely friendly, but the owner is a man who thinks highly of himself, is unfriendly and very arrogant. I have bought and sold houses many times in my life, but this realtor surpasses everything. I think things have gone too well for him. Also, the office doesn't keep their appointments and the way they communicate is regularly insufficient; the buyer of our house was also not pleased about this. Not recommended.
