Seven years ago, we were looking for our first apartment in The Hague. We then came into contact with Jan Willem, who helped us quickly and effectively by putting forward a sharp offer for us. Last year, we started looking for our next step on the housing market. Although this time it wasn't about a property nearby, we decided to hire Jan Willem as a buyer's agent again. Despite this being outside his area of expertise, he was willing to help us and came along to the viewing. He inspected the property carefully and advised us during the bidding process and in the further steps. He took care of documents and quickly answered our questions, even outside office hours - which we experienced as very pleasant. This time too, Jan Willem succeeded in helping us find a beautiful new home. Our apartment in The Hague was not yet sold, but we were also in the right place with Jan Willem for this. He arranged the photos and texts and kept us well informed of the status. If you are looking for an expert real estate agent who understands his profession well, then you should definitely go to Jan Willem!

We had to sell our family home. Apart from the fact that this was very sad, we didn't know where to begin. Jan Willem took everything on himself. Both the business and personal aspects were handled extremely well by him. The personal aspect helped us process the sale. We could always call or email him. We always received an immediate response. We couldn't have wished for a better real estate agent. We are very grateful to him.

This broker will cost you money rather than deliver anything. He lacks the necessary expertise to properly assist you in this market. In my case as a buyer's agent. He communicated unclearly with the selling broker and drafted incorrect suspensive conditions. Unfortunately, I only realized that too late (the lawyer I had to hire and the notary had to point this out). Now many sleepless nights later, I am left with an expense of 2500 euros without having bought a single house. In addition, he tried to make an appointment with the selling broker without my permission, he also doesn't want to apologize for that, even though it is in black and white. All he does is send his own bill (for a failing service!). Everyone makes mistakes, including brokers, but not wanting to admit it and not being willing to accommodate me in any way is a very bad thing and simply cannot be done. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, hence this review. So: stay away from this broker if you want to buy or sell a house with peace of mind. The response from the broker below again shows that he finds it very difficult to apologize. If he had clearly communicated to the selling broker that the purchase was indeed cancelled, there would have been no ambiguity. After all, that is his job. This allowed the seller to seize the opportunity not to release the deposit; he's not stupid either, he won’t do that just like that. The questions the buyer's agent couldn't answer for me in this case further demonstrate that he simply isn't skilled enough in this overheated market. It is also remarkable that he responds to my complaint via this review, but a substantive response by email still hasn't arrived. A facade?
