Enterprising real estate agency!

Get an appraisal done. After the appraisal, I was called and asked if amount 'x' was acceptable. I was surprised by the question; after all, I am not the appraiser? Only after payment did I receive the report. It contained a major error that affected the value. I called about this, but Mr. Fontein didn't want to make any changes. He gave a senseless argument to justify his appraised value. When my property came for sale, another shortcoming emerged: Mr. Fontein had pretended during the appraisal as if he had measured my house, but he only retrieved the number of m3 from Google. Upon re-measurement according to the NEN standard by my selling real estate agent, my home turned out to be 6m2 larger. If you pay 750 euros for an appraisal, you should at least expect some quality instead of simply calculating an average square meter price on the appraised object.

Fast modern real estate agent. What we found very pleasant was the streamlined communication. An appointment is an appointment and viewing once outside of office hours was also no problem.

No deposit returned, even though we handed over the house in a better condition than we received it (balcony full of mud and mess, moldy out carpet, clutter everywhere and soiled bedding, clothes, mattresses etc.). Landlord and realtor point at each other but since the deposit was paid to the realtor, the liability naturally lies with him. It's a shame that companies use tricks like avoiding deposit refunds because they value their reputation and customer satisfaction less than those few extra payments. Be warned if you want to rent something here.

Attempted to make an appointment for a viewing. Subsequently, an appointment was made that took 2 weeks due to the real estate agent’s lack of time. Afterwards cancelled because the owner could not. A new appointment was agreed upon and the day before the viewing it turned out that the location had been sold without any notification being given to us and apparently the owner themselves did not yet know this, as we had passed by the house and spoken with the owner themselves. Is there a sales game at play here from the real estate agent or is he/she an acquaintance of the buyer?? Shouldn't the real estate agent inform the seller of interest?? We had already heard from our old neighbors about such a 'sales technique' from this real estate agent.
