Currently in the process of buying a house through Rosanne from Toff. So far, things are going well. They are open and honest, their viewing and bidding process is flexible, and it doesn't feel as rushed as with other real estate agents who schedule an hour-long tour. This allows for sufficient time to ask questions before making a major life and financial decision. They advised that Toff in Dutch means 'cool,' which is a very suitable name. P.S. The quality of the houses they offer is, for some reason, significantly better compared to what is available on Funda.

Had a tour of a house in the reeds, the real estate agent indicated that the house had insulation in the intermediate floor but pointed to a floor slab. Also on other questions there was no proper answer. Finally, to my great surprise, she stated as we were leaving that there was already a bid for the asking price so if we wanted the house we would have to offer higher than that. I wouldn't like to be the one who placed the bid. Then you get a nice earful. I wouldn't like to do business with this party again, but you don’t choose who someone else sells their house through.

I am very satisfied with WG Makelaars. The communication flowed smoothly and clearly, both via email and through the app, allowing for quick action. Apparently, with this broker, money is the highest goal. Whether you have a large budget or somewhat less, that's not further of interest. Directly after submitting what was, for me, the maximum bid, a clear answer: No, this is too low, we can’t do anything with this. So the offer is not accepted. I then wonder what the opinion of the selling party would have been?

These people earn their money far too easily. We shifted everything in need so that we could still attend a viewing, only to be cancelled an hour beforehand because the house had already been sold, with the reason being 'the offer was so beautiful that we had to go along with it'. In this market, as a real estate agent, you should take the initiative to give everyone a chance and have respect for those seeking. You earn your money far too easily and your behavior reflects that. If something were to happen through the state regarding this market in about 10 years, I wouldn't be surprised if you were directly driven out of business by competition. And your communicative accessibility is terrible. If you are legally inclined, you can hold this real estate agent liable for damages due to failing to adhere to the legal requirements of real estate brokerage.

Little learned from the housing crisis. Making an appointment is difficult, you have to chase it up multiple times yourself. The real estate agent arrives late for the appointment, the real estate agent asks a lot of questions about your private life and tells nothing about the house. The real estate agent indicates that they will send another questionnaire and investigate some questions with the owner. You have to chase this yourself, the answers to the questions do not come and after a few days you find out that the house has been sold subject to approval. Apparently too much trouble to mention something like that during a viewing. The house is advertised with an incorrect energy label. In short, such a bad experience that we will from now on skip every house as a precaution that comes up for sale with them.

Of all the viewings we've had in six months, that one with this realtor was absolutely the worst.

Our experience with Tanja van der Avoird from Maes Makelaars was very disappointing and extremely unprofessional. Upon arrival, we were 3 minutes early and the previous interested parties were still viewing. When we awkwardly said 'oh yes we are a little early' there wasn’t even a response like 'no worries I’ll be right with you' or something similar. We were bluntly told 'Yes. Eh, just wait inside then I’ll show these people the outside'. When I pointed out that the price was too high for the size and condition of the house, I was immediately contradicted by the realtor, without any room for discussion. The viewing itself didn’t even last a quarter of an hour, which is ridiculously short for such an important decision as buying a house. After only ten minutes, we felt that the realtor wanted to end the viewing. At the beginning of the viewing, she indicated that she would still show us the outside with the gate/ garage door and the carport, but she didn’t even show us all of that. Furthermore, it was stated that there was single glazing upstairs while the advertisement stated that there was double glazing everywhere. When we said this, it was confidently said 'no, that's not in the ad'. We checked this at home immediately and it absolutely was in the advertisement. Throughout the entire viewing, Tanja had this same arrogant attitude towards us. The most shocking thing was the reaction to our offer. After we had made an offer that we considered realistic, we were contacted by phone in a very rude manner with the message that it was an offensively low bid. All in all, a particularly bad experience and I would therefore strongly advise against this realtor.
