I had found a property on a rental website, after which we suddenly had to register compulsorily on Ronifica’s site ‘for faster contact’. We did this and quickly made contact with ‘the intermediary’. Now comes the strange part: they didn’t want to provide us with the rental contract ''because this agreement only starts when you rent the property from the landlord'' AND ''the landlord will not make an agreement without knowing whether you can actually rent the property''. While the rental contract should normally already be drawn up! It was also very vague that when we had the viewing, it was said ‘you are the only candidates at this moment’ and later it was said: ‘then I will send you the documents, together with those of the other candidates’. Also, as soon as we got home after the viewing, the advertisement for this house suddenly disappeared: from their own website and from another well-known rental website. Because ''a colleague did it accidentally''. While normally you would put an advertisement on status ‘rented’.
