We bought our house through Ruseler Makelaars. We were happy until the handover of the house. The seller had made scratches on the wooden floor during the move. When he came to repair this, he said that he had chosen a picture hanging system on the bedroom wall because he thought it was a shame to drill holes in the wall. A day later we removed the wooden floor (expensive floor, cheaply laid) and it turned out that the bedroom was built on the wooden floor and we had floating, moving walls. Those holes were not drilled because the wall cannot handle it. The wall is too weak. The seller did not tell us this the day before. He was therefore dishonest and he also did not mention this in the list of items. The only thing the real estate agent can say about this is that it’s a shame we removed the wooden floor, because it's a solid wood floor. It doesn’t matter that the seller wasn’t honest. If you are looking for a real estate agent who stands behind the seller and is not acting with integrity, then Ruseler is the right address.

We have formally notified Ruseler for failing on more than 10 points. Our house was sold within 2 weeks, to the first bidder, at the first offer. Below market price, without group viewings etc. In our opinion, it went very hastily and the house was supposedly sold underwater. Ruseler has not offered any explanation, compensation or apologies whatsoever. Appointments are missed or cancelled. We try to keep communicating, but without success. So it will be up to the court or NVM. We find it sad that you trust the expertise of the professional and pay well for it. To then be left so disadvantaged.
