Very bad real estate agent. Promises made during the house viewing, but after purchase they wanted nothing more to do with it. Moreover, very hard to reach, even after multiple requests for a callback you are not called back. When they do respond via email, it's usually just after five o'clock, so you can't react to it anymore. After months of hassle they literally said there was nothing more they could do and nothing has been resolved.

Avoid doing business with Nijsingh Avies to prevent hassle! Steven Nijsingh states on his website that he provides legal advice but is also a real estate agent and is active as such, however, because he is not affiliated with the NVM or another professional association, you have nowhere to turn in case of a dispute. The negative review likely comes from another victimized client. The positive reviews come from his family and a construction company that Steven does business with, namely Wrotters. I also find the latter dubious, especially since Steven charges a commission for bringing in building assignments without the customer hearing or seeing it, let alone having insight into it on request (I also wonder if this is legally permitted). In short, my advice is to stay away from Steven Nijsingh.

Although it was a difficult and emotional situation for us, I really appreciated his understanding and calm approach. I also got to know Steven as a good negotiator with expertise.
