We experienced pleasant and professional contact both with the purchase and sale. The handling real estate agent was well and quickly reachable outside of office hours and even during vacation period. Pleasant and clear advice, but the choices and control were in our hands: that is nice. We recommend these realtors in Tilburg!

Below is my original message: I'm already starting to tackle the standard response of this company. No, I am not a client of kin makelaars, because my way of communicating was labeled as hostile and therefore all communication was abruptly stopped. The following situation occurred; I stated some conditions given that there were defects in the object to be rented. The start date of the rental agreement was not clearly indicated, so I gave 2 possibilities in an email. The defect was resolved for the earliest possible start date and I could come and check beforehand if everything was okay, possibility 2; the start date would fall a month later so that I could still check at a later time due to vacation. Communication broke down because the broker kept giving the same answer; that the possibility of inspection after the start date of the first rental period had to be. Repeated requests for direct communication with the landlord regarding the defect were completely ignored. Now I am well, but not stupid. Intentional stupidity and inadequate communication from the broker. I was very clear about this in my email after repeatedly asking earlier. Ultimately, I asked them to indemnify me from all obligations surrounding the discussed object because I found the communication terribly bad. At kin makelaars they consider you hostile and that is, according to them, a valid reason to stop all communication. Without the requested indemnity. They respond nowhere anymore. Very unprofessional. I certainly wonder if the landlord is aware of these shenanigans. A chic company that kin makelaars Tilburg.

Voted for KIN and had a very positive experience! Maarten is a very skilled and highly experienced real estate agent. Received very good and useful advice and he was always available for us in the evening. Moreover, everyone at the office is super friendly and very good at what they do. Extremely unfriendly and professionalism is nowhere to be found

Incompetent broker Unfortunately you cannot respond when Kin posts a response. But the way people are responding is incorrect. The asking price was your own approach. You want to please the buyers and then, if their method doesn't work, they say it's the sellers' fault. In addition, Kin Makelaars is increasingly appearing on the blacklist of other brokers due to their methods. Kin has an answer for everything, talks a lot but says nothing. More and more negative reactions and trying to make it look good. As I said, incompetent.

It's a shame that some brokers / appraisers put their own clients in a bad light. In addition, an uninterested attitude during viewings and a very defensive attitude towards criticism. Not really the behavior and attitude you would expect from a brokerage firm that should adhere to the NVM code of conduct. Hopefully others have a better experience with this party. Had contact with the same real estate agent several times (probably an assistant real estate agent) via KIN Tilburg. During a viewing, just standing inside without explaining anything? Not even after multiple friendly requests for explanation/clarification. Wow. No energy/effort/conviction at all. I thought it was an intern. A few years later, coincidentally bought a house from someone who had used KIN as their real estate agent. Unfortunately, I encountered the same employee again. That was already a problem, because they of course work for their own client - the other party in this case - not for me! Maar terwijl het andere bureau KIN afgeschilderde als 'gladde jongen, die gaat voor het geld', bleef Maarten respectvol praten over andere bureaus. Hij bleef juist dicht bij zichzelf, bij daar waar KIN voor staat. In het verkooptraject dat volgde, werd keer op keer duidelijk dat KIN weet dat zij in hun krach…

We werden heel goed begeleid en op de hoogte gehouden van de laatste ontwikkelingen. Strategisch zijn ze ook erg sterk door te pieken op het juiste moment. Wij hebben de verkoop erg prettig en leuk ervaren, aanrader dus. Niet onbelangrijk de marktwaarde van het huis hadden ze bij ons perfect ingeschat.

After we had decided to sell, we had a good conversation with the real estate agent, during which he also gave expert advice. After that, we were relieved of worries. The photographer, energy label, etc... were all arranged. If we had questions, we could always go to him and were helped quickly. We were also fully guided and relieved of worries in our search for a new home.

We had taken an option on one of the apartments in villa de Leij in Tilburg on a Thursday. When we then called to say that we wanted it, Mr. had to inquire whether that was still possible, while he had not informed us that someone else had already responded in the meantime. It ultimately worked out well so we did get the apartment. Afterwards, appointments were poorly documented and I had to drive specially to Tilburg again, even though we had already submitted our choices for the kitchen. Total lack of flexibility when scheduling viewing appointments. We were also not properly informed about new options for the countertop in the kitchen. Unfriendly treatment by branch manager. Other staff were friendly. Would definitely not recommend this real estate agent.

Ugly boys

Bad experience with KIN Real Estate Agency. They did not allow a building inspection during the cooling-off period of the purchase agreement. The inspection was shifted so far that it would no longer be feasible to cancel if this were necessary according to the contract. Then something must almost certainly be wrong, which the broker is aware of and conceals this information from buyers. Very sly! No trust in KIN Real Estate Agency anymore!

No knowledge of the local market and absolutely no empathy. In the potential customer.

Some years ago my house in Oisterwijk was for sale with this realtor, never once did anyone come to look at it... lost for a long time

I had a positive experience. No rental costs, no registration fees, quite unusual compared to other agencies that try to scam you.

Do you want to sell your house through KIN or KIN as a buyer's agent? My advice: DON'T DO IT! We thought we had found a great real estate agent who knew what he was talking about and understood our expectations. Unfortunately, this turned out not to be the case at all. Selling a house (YOUR/YOURS house) and buying a new house should be a fun, exciting time, but doing it through KIN Realtors turns it into a frustrating time with a bitter aftertaste. Our interests, in our opinion, were not properly represented, which we have repeatedly tried to make clear and explain, but you are literally laughed in the face. “It sold quickly anyway?” and everything went “crescendo” according to the agent’s opinion. As they themselves describe on their website, selling a house doesn't have to be an art, which proves to be true. Our house was listed on Funda on Thursday and on Friday we were called that Monday and Tuesday were the first four viewings. We were excited, that was positive! What we unfortunately didn’t know is that when potential buyers (from) Monday morning called the KIN office, there were already no more appointments to be scheduled?!? You are not communicated with honestly, you are not listened to, and information is withheld. The consequences of a structural survey “was not relevant then”. And these are just some of the things we have encountered. What I find worst of all is the treatment, the arrogant attitude that is adopted when you want to express why something didn't go well, where you hardly get the opportunity to finish your sentence because people talk over you, laugh or scoff…. Even the buyer wanted to back out due to the agent’s behavior during the viewing and in subsequent contact… I find it anything but professional and I would definitely advise everyone not to enter the housing market with KIN Realtors.

The agents were those of the selling party (not ours). Questions about the purchase contract were 'overlooked', and when raised on this point, the agent tried to hold us responsible for not answering a question we had posed to them. Furthermore, even after being pointed out twice regarding the correct spelling of our name, they still couldn't spell it correctly, and they made negative comments about the selling party (their own client).
