Brutal and unusual broker. We had made an offer on a house, and it was accepted. Before we heard that our bid was accepted, the broker asked a contact of ours whether we could afford it and what kind of work we did etc etc. Ultimately, we were called by the broker at half past 9 in the evening saying that someone had significantly overbid, while the purchase contract was already ready. This can of course happen, but the way Mares handled this is not nice. We spoke to several brokers and they shared the same opinion. Eventually, Mares would keep us informed, but the documents have already been removed and we haven't heard anything more. Should we ever see a house that suits us, but is being sold through Mares, we will definitely pass!
