Heel tevreden over de service van Dwarsmakelaardij. Doen wat ze beloven. Heel tevreden over Jolanda Buijs. Heel vriendelijk en professioneel.
Een bezichtiging gehad via Dwars Makelaars met Nina. Hoewel ik de woning niet heb gekocht, ben ik erg tevreden over de ervaring. De communicatie was duidelijk en prettig. Nina was goed geïnformeerd, transparant over de gebreken en dacht actief mee over mogelijke aanpassingen aan de woning. Ze nam echt de tijd en gaf waardevol advies. Dat zie je niet vaak. Mocht ik ooit een woning verkopen, dan zou ik Dwars Makelaars zeker overwegen.

VERSPIL GEEN TIJD EN MOEITE AAN DEZE AMATEURS. Roepen met alle overtuiging dat ze mij terug zouden bellen, inmiddels zelf aantal keer gebeld voor een horecapand. NIEMAND BELT. Onprofessioneel, NIET SERIEUS TE NEMEN. Verhuur nemen ze niet serieus. Er zijn andere makelaren waar je beter mee in zee kan gaan!

I have contacted Yael from Dwars real estate regarding a commercial building in Nederweert. After negotiations with the landlord, I indicated that I wanted to check with the municipality whether I was allowed to perform my work at that location. This turned out not to be the case. It is strange that Yael did not warn me about this initially, as he should be well aware of the zoning plan. However, the municipality stated that I could submit a request for an exception to be granted at this location with regard to my activities. It took 2 months before I received an answer from the municipality. During that time, I heard nothing from Yael. There was no inquiry about the status, no proposal for possibly another building, absolutely nothing. Ultimately, on August 28th, I heard from the municipality that there was a definitive 'no' regarding my request. Disappointing, but I tried to convey this to Yael immediately. However, he did not pick up, nor was there a response to the voicemail I left. Consequently, I called the office the next day. The receptionist seemed very uninterested. Even when I indicated that I still had interest in another building rented out by Dwars, I was told that they would pass it on to Yael, but he was off that afternoon. Remarkably, it wasn't immediately transferred to another real estate agent within Dwars, but okay. After still hearing nothing the Wednesday after (in the meantime 5 days have passed, of which 3 working days), I decided to email owner Maarten van Laer, in which I expressed my complaint. This email was quickly forwarded to Yael as he called me back within a few hours. During this conversation, he put on his penitent's garb, according to Yael. Well, apologies accepted. Furthermore, he promised to revisit the other building that I had in mind. The next day (August 29th), I was again called by Yael with the news that the owner of the building was interested and came back very quickly on this. Owner Maarten van Laer also called me. He stated that he was happy with my email and that he would investigate what went wrong in this matter. He promised to get back to me within a week. Meanwhile, it is now Monday, September 16th. I have heard nothing more from either of the gentlemen. Nothing from Yael about the building. And nothing from Maarten about the so-called investigation. Unbelievable but true. It should be clear that I am very disappointed in the way of doing business at Dwars real estate.
Knowledgeable, committed, friendly
The current reviews on the internet are mostly about buying homes, but in terms of renting, it's downright bad. More than five weeks ago we responded to a property where we were allowed to view it fairly quickly. That was positive. Our interest was great, so on the day of the viewing, we immediately arranged to send all documents via email. There was no confirmation of this, so after not hearing anything for a week, I started to doubt whether it had even arrived. So I called and explained how things were. The telephone operator seemed immediately less friendly and said somewhat grumpily that with this landlord it always takes 'a bit longer' before you hear something. Fine, then you wait a little longer. Three weeks later (so four weeks after the viewing) and still no response. This time my girlfriend called to ask about it, because we actually think this is ridiculous. This time the telephone operator is fortunately not so irritated and tells us 'that they are still working on it' and 'that the broker or she herself will contact us when they know something'. Again fine, so we wait again. Nevertheless, our interest in the apartment remains great, so we also keep an eye on it ourselves via Funda and the website. To our great surprise, it suddenly says here that the apartment has been rented! Without any contact from the real estate agency itself, despite this being assured to us. I normally don't write reviews, but if you have people send in their personal details and then as a real estate agency you can’t take the initiative to keep people informed, you are really doing badly. Stick to selling, apparently things go much better with that.
Negligent and poor communication. After much effort on our part and a viewing, we never heard back again. No idea what is now happening to all of our personal data that we emailed in confidence.
Friendly and very professional real estate agent. Dwars Makelaars has sold two houses for us and was our buyer’s broker twice when purchasing a house. Every time we were perfectly assisted and the result was top! We are very satisfied with them. Compliments to René, Maarten and their colleagues!

Dwars Makelaars is a pleasant company to do business with. The approach is no-nonsense without becoming impersonal. On the contrary, all employees are attentive and friendly. All questions are handled completely and quickly. Dwars Makelaars could become slightly more proactive. The initiative lies somewhat too much with the client. Hence the score of four stars. Five stars is achievable. In short, we were well helped and very satisfied.
