Abuse of housing shortages and misleading descriptions I recently went to view an apartment that was being offered for €900 per month. The advertisement stated that only the bathroom and toilet would be shared. However, no photos of the toilet and shower were intentionally taken, and when I arrived on site, it turned out they were located in the middle of the living space. Nice, for almost €1000 per month, a stranger can come to poop at your place every day! In addition, I had to pay €20 to have a 'greater chance' of a viewing. I was indeed invited, but when I arrived, there was no real estate agent present to speak with me. Instead, I encountered 30 other people who were also coming to view. In short, that €20 registration fee was pure misleading, because it seemed as if everyone was invited. Nowhere was it mentioned that this was an open house viewing. This kind of unscrupulous rental agents, who abuse the housing crisis to exploit desperate people, deserve to be banned immediately. If you are so decent as to refund my €20, I will consider removing my review.
