Unfortunately, we had a disappointing experience with the realtor who showed us the house, Coen. We were slightly late for the viewing, but we had called beforehand and were assured that it would not be a problem. The intern we spoke to was polite and helpful, but Coen was rude and unwelcoming. He didn't even walk with us through the house, and we felt uncomfortable asking questions because he seemed rushed and grumpy. All in all, it was an unpleasant experience and left a negative impression of the realtor and even of the house itself. Absolutely terrible.

I still remember proudly announcing that there were many bids well above the asking price. Bid form filled out and then never heard anything more.

Through Era Real Estate Agency Alkmaar, Mr. Gerard Vel performed an appraisal for financing for us. The communication was pleasant and clear, and the appointment could take place smoothly. Appraisal report also received within the agreed timeframe.

Neat, good information prior to appraisal. Fast report delivery afterwards. Adjusting the terms of the appraisal (from with renovation value indication, to without) was manageable, but required some effort. All in all, a neat handling of everything and not necessarily the cheapest, but certainly not the most expensive and definitely handled quickly.
