We were well assisted in our search, there was a good picture of homes that could suit us. We were timely alerted to this. What we are particularly pleased with is the way of thinking along and the advice around the negotiations.

Rico ten Hag is not a good realtor. We have seen Rico a total of two times. The first time for an introduction and the second time to sign the contract. After that, we haven't seen him anymore!! Without consultation, he lets someone from his staff sell your house! We had chosen HIM as our realtor, and not one of his employees. Furthermore, he is poorly accessible, even if you leave a voicemail, he calls back 2 days later with excuses. You are also not kept informed about the sale and he doesn't think along with you at all. Of course, we paid more than € 600 in start-up costs. Because we were dissatisfied with his services, we wanted to cancel the contract and, in addition to the € 600 in start-up costs, we also had to pay a penalty of € 850. While we certainly felt we had good reasons not to continue with him. Ultimately, we sold our house ourselves within 3 weeks.

I've already had a bad experience with this broker in the past. Apparently, they now also want to promote themselves with an aggressive promotional team that harasses you when you walk through the city on Saturday. It doesn't really work well this way, definitely not recommended.

After 8 months of renting through Ten Hag I have discovered that it's a worthless company. During those 8 months, I always kept the heating low and turned it off when I wasn't home (namely every weekend). Furthermore, I haven't been home at all for the last month. I paid an advance payment of 125 euros each month and receive nothing back. Ten Hag cannot show me any proof of usage. In short, it’s not a real advance payment at all. Moreover, it took more than 3 months and a lot of effort to get my deposit back. Never rent through Ten Hag.
