Share my experience: In my case, it was the seller Makelaar (broker), on the day of registration, the seller handed over the key box. But I discovered that the keys to the storage room were missing, no warranty documents were shared for the renovation (requested several times before registration, no response), outdoor lights were broken, wall leaks were deliberately hidden and painted before being sold. Basic kitchen and bathroom items were not cleaned during handover. Someone asked about all of this after the notary, the answer was that we can do it if the seller does not respond. So be careful and arrange things with the notary. I don't see the makelaar getting this done.

Very unfriendly treatment, cancels viewings multiple times at the last moment. If you ask why, you get a foolish answer. First time because someone is making an attractive offer and second time due to their own sloppiness errors. I wonder what kind of mess it is there with them. Everything revolves around money here.

After having gone through a less pleasant period regarding our house hunt, we were really in need of some extra support when it came to buying a new house and selling the old one. Within a very short time, a broker from the office was sitting at our table, listening well to our wishes, but also listening to what had happened during that less pleasant period in order to support us properly. We even had an appointment that same day to view a house and within a week we were with our new financial advisor. You probably already get the picture: we were able to sign at the notary's office quite quickly too! The communication with the office for handling the purchase and sale is smooth, clear and fast! They are also not afraid to pick up the phone if something in an email is still not entirely clear, as far as we are concerned, the team understands that you are in an intense period and provides reassurance through personal attention. The support from the office really took a load off our minds. We have now been living in the house that we viewed that very same day for more than 2 months and haven't regretted buying our palace even once!

This broker engaged as a buyer's agent. Very satisfied with the services. Found a house in no time!

Very bad broker! During the viewing, no attention was paid to us at all (“just look around, I’m busy with registrations for 3 other properties”). We immediately made an offer (well above the asking price) on the property and it was accepted by the seller. Our purchasing broker immediately sent all the necessary documents for drafting the purchase agreement. However, this broker failed to create the deed within 24 hours (which is nice and now common in this overheated market). To our horror, we were informed the next day that another bid had been received and that we could increase our offer. We did so and became the highest bidders again and the property was granted to us once more. It then took another week before a draft purchase agreement was available. Then we decided to drop out of the sale….. and are very happy with another house! Where can this broker improve: Customer friendliness and less arrogance Speed in drafting a purchase agreement and thereby providing certainty to both buyer/and seller. It may be going smoothly for you at the moment, but offering some service (both to seller and buyer) would enhance your reputation.

Scandalous! Just now: I spoke on the phone with SASKIA PINERO BEERTHUIZEN following a request for a viewing. An appointment was scheduled for next Monday. Very sorry that I chose this realtor for the sale of my house. The most beautiful stories in the non-binding introductory meeting: personal attention, a tailor-made plan, proficiency in negotiations and especially full of talk about how many realtors are running around who don't understand their profession. For me, the deciding factor was that buyers would be 'guided around and taken through' the house 'in all peace'. No hurried and impersonal open house, good story I thought. But unfortunately, after signing the assignment, very little of it actually came to fruition. No direct communication, only via an employee at the office the (bread) necessary information. Furthermore, the feeling of having to chase everything yourself and many sloppinesses. 'Guided tours' turned out to take no longer than 5 minutes, including stairs to the 3rd floor. When I wanted to talk about this, the owner came by and reacted primarily denying and evasive. Clearly not pleased with comments on his working method. I never felt like a customer, only a number, and an extra step has never been discussed at all. Really very bad. Think carefully before you start here; those 'other' realtors that Mr. supposedly warned about in the first meeting may well have a sense of their clients and keep them informed at important moments. They left me to fend for myself (in terms of communication and strategy) at an important moment (offer and negotiation); partly due to this, I am left with a very bad feeling.

We were fortunate that both the purchase of our new home and the sale of our old home were handled by Alex van Keulen real estate agents. Unprofessional and very bad experience with them. I won a bid on a house and received a confirmation email. After a week, they rejected my bid and sold the house to others. I lost the money I had spent on a valuation report and a building inspection report. Injustice was never answered... never expected in the Netherlands!

This best sir probably fancies himself King of the Jungle; perhaps the name 'Simba' suits him better. That may be because he’s on TV after all, so other rules apply to him. If you make an offer on a property, no response is received within the stipulated period. What you shouldn't dare to do is not adhere to the wishes/requirements of Mr. (' Simba')’s office. After an offer has been made, the agency waits longer than average before forwarding the seller’s data regarding the preliminary purchase agreement. You never know if the agency receives a higher bid in this overheated market. Not the nicest agency & certainly not a nice realtor to buy from or negotiate with. As a customer, you just have to stick to his rules. Mr. A from Keulen is the real Simba king in this housing market.

My house was sold very quickly thanks to the commitment of Alex and his team. The beautiful photos on the website, but certainly also Alex's visit beforehand to the formal actions, contributed to a quick sale.
