This broker has a property for sale via Funda, which was designed for an empty lot (photo funda). Simple questions by phone such as: “is the house already under construction” could not be answered. For that, one really had to first contact the seller, very peculiar. When I pointed out that I expected a realtor to have that info, it was stated that all information available was on the internet. In other words, check Funda and don't bother us. Subsequently sent an email with several questions. After 5 days still no response (there was a weekend in between). Curious to see, but doesn’t inspire much confidence. Update 04-02-2020: Still no answer to a few simple questions.

One star because you send flyers, which is unwanted. Preferably don't do this, or otherwise keep it per house and check yourself if it is wanted. In response to your post: Are you sending unwanted flyers and then I have to indicate whether I want to receive them or not? That’s the opposite world. I simply don't appreciate that and that is my right. Otherwise, I could start contacting all of Almere to see if they want to receive their flyers or not. Excellent real estate agent

Our house was sold thanks to a very involved realtor Ben Durlinger, who in our opinion did much more than 'sell'. A great empathetic ability allows him to find precisely that one buyer who suits the house. Supported by Lisa Stijker who neatly took care of the back office and provided us with correct information and documents, allowing the overall experience of Era van de Steege to excel in competent, empathetic and proactive customer contact. Only praise!!

Mainly dealt with Martin Houtzager. Very helpful and proactive. Pleasant, reliable personality. Quick communication and correct handling. During the handover of the house that I was allowed to move into, he even brought a bottle of champagne. The office is neat and well-maintained and easily accessible.

Wees gewaarschuwd! Niets dan ellende, loze beloftes en gebrekkige communicatie. U bespaard uzelf veel ellende, zorgen en onzekerheden door verder te zoeken naar een andere makelaar. Wij hebben na veel wikken en wegen besloten om ons huis via ERA Van De Steege te verkopen. De eerste gesprekken verliepen prettig en er werd goed meegedacht en gecommuniceerd. De courtage die werd gevraagd was veruit het hoogste van alle makelaars waar wij mee in contact zijn geweest, maar kwaliteit kost nou eenmaal extra werd gezegd door onze makelaar bij Van de Steege. Na het tekenen van het contract stond de fotograaf binnen no time op de stoep en voordat wij het wisten stond ons huis op Funda, super geregeld! Echter was dit ook het moment dat de ellende begon en niet meer tot een einde kwam. - Er was weinig tot geen feedback van de makelaar hoe de kijkmomenten zijn verlopen - De verkooptekst op Funda miste een aantal essentiële verkooppunten - Er is afgesproken dat er geen open huis gehouden zou worden, maar toch is dit wel zo gecommuniceerd op Funda - De makelaar heeft tijdens de bezichtigingen nagenoeg niemand actief begeleid en geprobeerd het huis te verkopen. De enige woorden die veelvoudig zijn gesproken zijn 'Het is een A-merk vloer" en "Ja mooi he". Er was geen enkele sprake van het actief verkopen van de woning, van het benoemen van de gunstige locatie van de woning en van de afwerking van de woning. Er was dus geen toegevoegde waarde van een makelaar in deze. Hij is enkel aanwezig geweest en heeft verder weinig tot niks gedaan. - Omdat wij al een aantal dagen geen contact meer met onze makelaar kregen, hebben wij contact opgenomen met het kantoor van Van de Steege, waarbij wij kregen te horen dat de makelaar al een aantal dagen op vakantie was! Dit is niet met ons gecommuniceerd en de verkoop van ons huis is niet goed overgedragen naar een andere makelaar. Wij hebben een uitgebreide mail met onze klachten en bevindingen gestuurd naar het kantoor van Van de Steege, waarna een gesprek volgde. Dit gesprek is op zich prettig verlopen. Er is toegegeven dat er een hoop fouten zijn gemaakt en dat de verkoop niet optimaal is verlopen. Wij zouden een nieuwe makelaar krijgen en vanaf dit punt zou alles op en top geregeld worden voor ons. Wel kregen we het verzoek of wij geen slechte review wilden schrijven. Waarom dan toch een slechte review denkt u wellicht? Vanaf het moment dat het bovenstaande gesprek heeft plaatsgevonden is er niks veranderd. Er was absoluut geen enkele sprake van begeleiding en communicatie en wij hebben wederom achter alles aan moeten mailen en bellen. - ERA Van de Steege was vergeten dat de voorbehoud van financiering periode was verlopen. Hier moesten wij zelf achteraan bellen alvorens er actie op ondernomen werd. Tijdens dit telefoongesprek is beloofd dat er contact met ons zou worden opgenomen zodra de datum voor het storten van de waarborgsom is verstreken, maar ook dit is helaas niet gebeurd. - Er zijn hierna wat problemen ontstaan met betrekking tot de waarborgsom. Dit komt deels door de kopende partij, dus dat valt ERA Van de Steege absoluut niet aan te rekenen. Wat ze wel valt aan te rekenen is dat er keer op keer op keer beloftes worden gemaakt die keer op keer niet worden nagekomen. Er wordt niet gecommuniceerd en je moet zelf overal achteraan bellen en mailen. Het is een lang verhaal en alsnog worden niet alle gebeurtenissen gedekt. Uiteindelijk is ons huis verkocht voor een marktconforme prijs, echter is het gehele traject ernaartoe ongelofelijk onprettig verlopen. Je moet overal achteraan zitten, er worden constant fouten gemaakt, er wordt nauwelijks gecommuniceerd door Van de Steege en belofte na belofte wordt verbroken door deze partij.

We bought our apartment for Airbnb and rentals - to test in Almere Poort - realtor= Martin Houtzager, Ben, Lisa Strijker, and Max were all enthusiastic in their own way and manner - partly because they thought along and gave us the chance to find a buyer. The buyer was found after 8 weeks from the network of VAn de Steege real estate agents from Almere Poort. We are super happy - and will look for a house - that we can build up or extend, and which they may sell. So on to Lelystad .. which is going to be hot !!!

He knows what he's talking about and provides explanation where necessary. Furthermore, he has a lot of knowledge of the local market and which people are attracted to it.
