I am extremely satisfied with the service of LV Housing! They helped me excellently in selling my house. From the first contact, I noticed that I was dealing with a professional and involved team. They took the time to properly understand my situation and wishes and carefully guided the entire process. The communication was always clear and transparent, and they kept me constantly informed of the progress. Thanks to their expertise and personal approach, the sale went smoothly and stress-free. My house sold faster than I expected. I wholeheartedly recommend LV Housing to anyone who wants to sell a house. But also rent and buy. Thank you for the great collaboration!

Yesterday we completed the handover of one of our (now sold) homes. The sale went exactly as promised by Leandro. LV Housing is very accommodating and clear about agreements. They are meticulous with the details and pay attention to the smallest details. We have purchased and sold properties before, but we haven't encountered a representative like LV Housing. As a customer, you are relieved of everything, and that was very nice for us.

I was scammed for $1000. Never give them a deposit/security deposit. They won't return it, even if you don't like the apartment.

I have had the worst experience with this broker so far; I would preferably give 0 stars but unfortunately that is not an option. The reason for this is simple: they indicated in advance that they could easily provide me with the necessary service, they seriously failed to do so and then terminated contact along with the deposit of 250 euros. I stated upfront what I was looking for in a home, LV Housing indicated that these requirements were easily achievable. Subsequently, they sent a number of options over two weeks that didn't even remotely come close to what I was looking for, and then I heard nothing more from them. In other words, I paid and they did not deliver. And this while they had previously stated that it would be an easy case.

Great realtor in Amsterdam and surrounding areas! They had a wide range of properties and were able to give me all the information I needed to make a decision about my house. The team communicates well in Dutch and English, is helpful and friendly. Highly recommend.

I agree with a number of reviewers and would like to recommend a serious review of their way of working with clients. I rented through this agency and never received a check-in document that I needed to sign and verify. No photos were taken, and there was no clarity beyond the fact that a substantial deposit is requested, which must, of course, be transferred to gain access to the apartment. I received the wrong parking number and had problems with the neighbors because they had parked my car in the wrong place. Only after chasing them down did I get the correct parking number for the garage. I was pursued for rental payments that were contractually scheduled for the end of the month, days before their due date. Fortunately, I was able to leave early in my rental period, but despite being told I would receive the money back within four weeks, I have received nothing. When I called, I was told that I had not paid one month's rent and therefore I would not get the deposit back. Once I explained that this was impossible, I was told they still needed to figure out how much they would return to me. Then I was told that they realized I was indeed in order with all payments, but they noticed that I had damaged the floor and therefore they would retain a sum of money, which sounded to me like an arbitrary amount, to repair it. No check-in photos were ever provided, so it was impossible for me to actually understand whether I had actually damaged the floor myself. I sent emails when I moved in requesting the check-in documents, but I never received them. I also never saw a quote and/or invoice to justify the withheld amount. Even if the damage was indeed caused by me, don't I have the right to understand why a specific sum of money is being retained? Furthermore, the apartment I rented was full of similar minor damages, with scratches here and there, a broken toilet seat, etc. I am therefore quite certain that repairs are actually never carried out. I sent several emails and was constantly 'gaslighted' by the staff, to be honest to the point where I felt completely misled, lost, and had no idea why this is considered acceptable behavior by a real estate agent in the Netherlands. I considered contacting a lawyer, but the money involved didn’t justify the effort. I am sorry to have to say that based on my experience, I would also advise against working with this agency.

There is still room to improve transparency, but overall I am happy with their service.

I rented an apartment through LV Housing for just over 2 years and unfortunately had several negative experiences with this rental company that I would like to share. It took a painful 6 months before I received my deposit (equal to 2 months' rent). The rental agreement stated that the deposit would be refunded within 3 months. This was not the case, in fact, I was forced to seek legal advice because they did not respond to my numerous emails, phone calls and letters. Ultimately, I received 90% of the deposit, which indicates that there was no significant dispute regarding possible repair costs; the agency simply failed to answer my questions for an extended period. Another incident demonstrating their approach concerns our balcony door. When we reported a problem with it, the agency sent a repairman who not only could not solve the problem but also caused further damage, making it now impossible for us to access our balcony. LV Housing then excused itself from its responsibility and stated that it was the duty of the Owners' Association to address the situation and instructed us to communicate with them - an unachievable task, as they exclusively communicate with landlords. Although I strive to maintain a polite tone in this review, I must express my deep disappointment with the services offered by this rental company. I would strongly encourage potential tenants and property buyers to explore alternative options when searching for suitable housing.

Don't even try to rent an apartment through this agency, unprofessional, no communication at all, no customer service, and if things go wrong for you, they just ignore you and don't pick up the phone. There are plenty of agencies in the Netherlands, just don't choose this one.

Generally unprofessional and unresponsive. After confirming a rental, they ignored emails and phone calls for more than 10 days. When someone finally answered, they simply avoided me on the phone to get rid of me comfortably with a template. They will claim that the owner has changed their mind, but the poor location and zero problem are entirely their fault. The whole experience would be laughable were it not for the significant damage and chaos caused. Do not expect them to be honest or committed.

LV Housing helped with brokering and managing a property I rented in Amsterdam, the process went very smoothly. Even after I moved out, every problem I had was handled correctly and promptly. Even had a gas leak issue and they were able to get a repairman to the house by 9:00 PM and resolve the problem immediately. If you are looking for a place in the Netherlands, I would recommend it! Corrupt organization!! Do not do business with this organization!

It is only my experience with their house search service, it does not represent the other services of this company. I have used their services for two months to help me find a rental property and during that time I am extremely disappointed with their services. In 2 months I only get one visit. They have an extremely long response time to every request, they made me wait for one visit. Furthermore, while every other real estate agency receives its commission at the time of signing the LV-woningen rental contract, he requests an advance on this commission.

One of the best experiences when switching rental homes, very responsive, very fast, they take care of the details for the tenant. Very smooth process and moreover, they offered me a welcome gift on moving day for the move into my new rental home. Very reliable and punctual.
