De zoektocht naar een tijdelijk appartement verliep snel en soepel. Hoewel het appartement behoorlijk duur was voor de grootte en locatie, was ik blij dat ik iets had gevonden om mee te beginnen in Amsterdam. De teleurstelling begon echter nadat de bemiddelingskosten waren betaald – daarna werd er geen verdere service of ondersteuning meer geboden. In mijn geval was het appartement niet goed schoongemaakt voordat ik erin trok. Ik zal u de details besparen. Toen ik dit aankaartte en om een ​​grondige schoonmaak vroeg, kreeg ik geen reactie of hulp. Uiteindelijk moest ik het hele appartement zelf schoonmaken. Toen ik een paar maanden later vertrok, vroeg ik om vrijstelling van de verplichte schoonmaakkosten (zoals vastgelegd in het contract), omdat het appartement niet schoon was toen ik aankwam. Het bureau schoof de verantwoordelijkheid simpelweg af op de vastgoedbeheerder en deed niets om het probleem op te lossen. Uiteraard werden de schoonmaakkosten van mijn borg afgetrokken. Voor een bureau waarvoor ik € 1.800 aan bemiddelingskosten heb betaald, had ik meer ondersteuning verwacht dan alleen het afhandelen van het contract en het overhandigen van de sleutels.

Mijn ervaring met dit makelaarskantoor was helaas teleurstellend. Vanaf het begin was de communicatie met de makelaar onduidelijk en inconsistent. Ik moest meerdere keren nabellen om een ​​antwoord te krijgen – soms moest ik een hele dag of langer wachten. Als ik probeerde te bellen, kreeg ik zelden antwoord en kreeg ik vaak te horen: "Ik bel je later terug." Uiteraard kwam dat telefoontje nooit. Mijn partner en ik waren op zoek naar een huurwoning voor korte termijn (6 maanden) en we hadden een eerste gesprek over een woning die veelbelovend leek. We kregen te horen dat we tegen het einde van de week antwoord zouden krijgen, maar na tien dagen en talloze onbeantwoorde berichten hoorden we niets meer. Uiteindelijk namen we geen contact meer op. Niemand nam meer contact met ons op – zelfs niet om ons te laten weten dat we niet geselecteerd waren. Ik vond het gebrek aan professionaliteit en respect behoorlijk teleurstellend, vooral gezien hoe belangrijk dit voor ons was. Jammer, want na het eerste gesprek hadden we hoge verwachtingen en een goede indruk van de makelaar. Helaas veranderde dat snel. Dit is slechts mijn persoonlijke ervaring, maar ik vond het de moeite waard om te delen.

Ik had me geen betere ondersteuning kunnen wensen. Zowel Kai als Thomas reageerden snel en zorgden ervoor dat het hele proces stressvrij verliep. Dank jullie wel!

Voordat we Elwin vonden, stond ons appartement al meer dan een jaar te koop bij twee andere makelaars, maar we hadden slechts een paar bezichtigingen en geen enkel bod ontvangen. Toen Elwin onze woning in de verkoop nam, zorgde hij direct voor nieuwe bezichtigingen met serieuze kopers.
