The worst real estate agents in Amsterdam. 3 Ubers had cancelled and I let the agent know that I would be slightly later, and now we stood waiting for 1 hour in the cold. We kept calling and they completely ignored us; they only care about money. Please go to a good real estate agent, every agent except these. This agency is run by young people who are after money, so I advise you to go with a real estate agent that has more mature people who know how to run an agency

They had put an apartment up for sale and made an appointment. They did not show up, called beforehand and were told that they had sold the apartment without any prior communication. They would have sent an email that never arrived. Poor communication and customer service/care.

My partner and I came to view an apartment this morning. We were on time, but no one showed up. I called to check the arrival time, but was told that someone else had already taken over the property last week. At least let people know in advance if someone else has taken over a property and don't waste time.

After the contract with Amstelland Makelaars was terminated, they did not send me a final confirmation and arranged with the homeowner that he would not respond, while he did not return my deposit. We had a very bad experience with Amstelland Makelaars. We were initially led to believe that our offer on an apartment would be accepted. Later, however, it turned out that the apartment was already rented to someone else at the time of the viewing. After we had submitted our personal documents and were waiting for the contract, our phone calls and e-mails to the real estate agent were ignored. When we expressed our surprise at the bad service, we were told: 'Sorry, that's just how it is.' Fortunately, we found a wonderful apartment through another real estate agent, who was polite and reliable. Be careful with these scammers.
