Poor communication after the rental application process. They ensure that you, as a prospective tenant, sign a letter of intent, but do not send a follow-up email stating whether you have been accepted or rejected for the apartment. This is extremely unprofessional.

It is currently very difficult to find an apartment in the Netherlands, especially if you do not live locally. We were partly lucky that we could respond directly to listings. And we were also lucky with rental agent Dax. He described the process very well, was constantly supportive and gave updates almost every day. After the contact was signed, we were also referred to the company that handled all utilities. The rental company therefore did a very good job.

Without the help of the Housing team, I wouldn't make it!
