We paid a little bit extra than the market price for an extra quality of the service (also result). Generally speaking, the service is good. Only their knowledge regarding energy report towards the notary office are not so senior. Which took my own energy and time to protect my interests. (challenge the notary )

The women at the office were great to work with. The main person I worked with was condescending and told me I was lazy because I didn't help him clean up before my open house. I have two autoimmune diseases, so I don’t have as much energy as a normal person. They advised a cleaning company that permanently stained my countertops. New countertops cost thousands of dollars. I never received compensation for the damage and still paid several hundred euros to the cleaning company. Area also recommended redoing the grout in my bathroom and the company they recommended did it in dark gray that looked black. The craftsman who made my shower told me it would dry to a very light gray, but it dried more black and my grout was white and we had to call the company and it was an enormous ordeal because they wanted us to pay to repair the grout so it wouldn't be black. So I can’t say that it was super easy to work with them. I would not use the cleaning company or the services they recommend. Because honestly, it was more of a headache than just finding people. Ultimately, they sold our house and we got a good price for it. I wouldn't say it was a painless process, but ultimately it worked out.

We have had very good experiences with Area. It is a small and very involved team. They advised us well on the timing of the sale of the property (when to put it on the market) and took many worries off our hands (e.g., preparing the house for sale). Area's approach is no nonsense, and furthermore, they were always easily accessible (via WhatsApp, email, and phone), both within and outside office hours. The team at Area really made selling our property something special with a maximum result.
