We paid a little bit extra than the market price for an extra quality of the service (also result). Generally speaking, the service is good. Only their knowledge regarding energy report towards the notary office are not so senior. Which took my own energy and time to protect my interests. (challenge the notary )

We have had very good experiences with Area. It is a small and very involved team. They advised us well on the timing of the sale of the property (when to put it on the market) and took many worries off our hands (e.g., preparing the house for sale). Area's approach is no nonsense, and furthermore, they were always easily accessible (via WhatsApp, email, and phone), both within and outside office hours. The team at Area really made selling our property something special with a maximum result.

From the first contact, everything was remarkably well-organized. Despite the high pace, the communication remained clear and we knew exactly where we were at. Within a short time, we could confidently choose our new home, because each step was clearly explained. The low-threshold and involved guidance made sure that we felt supported throughout this important moment.

The women at the office were great to work with. The man I worked with most, was condescending and said that I was lazy because I didn't help him with cleaning for my open house. I have two autoimmune diseases, so I don't have as much energy as a normal person. They recommended a cleaning company that permanently stained my countertops. New countertops cost thousands of dollars. I never got compensation for the damage and still paid hundreds of euros to the cleaning company. Area also recommended redoing the grout in my bathroom and the company they recommended did it in dark gray, which looked black. The professional who had done my shower told me that it would dry to a very light gray, well, it dried darker and my grout was white, so we had to call the company. It was a huge hassle because they wanted us to pay to fix the black grout. So I can't say that it was super easy to work with them. I would not use the cleaning company or any of the other services they recommended. Because honestly, it was more of a headache than just finding people. In the end, they sold our house and we got a good price for it. I wouldn't say that it was a painless process, but ultimately it worked out.
