They took no action on simple but important matters such as energy labels. It seemed to us that they did not have the expertise to handle the current, challenging market. Bloomstone Makelaars did not communicate clearly with us, because we had to contact them multiple times for updates on viewings and feedback from viewers. Super happy with this office: I quote Bloomstone Real Estate: “On average, we acquire a house with 2 bids” – This statement was completely correct in our case as well!!! Since the beginning of July 2021, we have been looking for a home to buy in Amsterdam. The first 4 months of our search were guided by another purchasing broker. During this period, it felt like an impossible task for us to buy a suitable house. After 10 bids where we didn't stand a chance, we decided to switch to Bloomstone Real Estate. From the first intake meeting in early November 2021, we immediately felt that we were taken seriously and the office did everything to create a realistic purchasing plan for us. One of the most valuable actions was the call from the office to our financial advisor. This revealed that we could bid more, but especially in a different way. This made us much stronger during bidding rounds. 1 week after the intake meeting, the office placed a bid on behalf of us for a house in Amsterdam Noord where we came out as the highest bidder. Due to an exceptional priority regulation for tenants of a social cooperative, this house unfortunately passed us by. Bloomstone then inquired with the selling party and found out that comparable homes would come onto the market soon. This led us to the house next door, which we were ultimately able to buy on December 31, 2021. Maxime and colleagues, thank you very much for your friendly but above all professional help.
