I took the advice regarding structural issues to heart and allowed myself to be convinced not to stick to my interior taste; this was a bit difficult but it opened doors. Furthermore, unexpected “problems” arising during the process, up to and including the physical relocation, were professionally handled so that I didn't have to worry about them and extra stress and effort on my part has been removed.

The gentlemen like to profile themselves as entrepreneurial brokers who do everything differently. This boils down to presenting the client with a bill of 10,000 euros for photos, restyling etc. without any guarantees. Plus, of course, a substantial commission. So all the risks are borne by the client and you rake in a hefty fee for yourself. A nasty experience.
