The ladies of Vermeer were the agents of the seller from whom I bought an apartment. The agent had placed incorrect information in the advertisement on funda and also communicated this verbally. It was only when signing the purchase agreement that it became apparent that this information was incorrect. At that moment, I had already incurred irreversible costs, wasted a huge amount of time, and missed opportunities to bid on other apartments where I could have bid in the meantime.

The realtors made a fatal mistake by stating that an apartment was on freehold land, while it was actually a leasehold agreement. This caused tremendous discomfort after the notary, financial advisor, and valuation had been arranged. It is an extremely unforgivable and unprofessional error.
