Very bad experience. Departing tenants are charged costs to register a new tenant. This is legally prohibited and not contractually stipulated. They only want to perform the procedure if you have paid. The departing tenant is again asked for income data, otherwise the digital procedure cannot be executed. A DigiD connection is used to upload income data directly, and no other option is offered. Legally, this is reserved only for housing corporations with social rental properties. This company knowingly and willingly exceeds legal boundaries. I will definitely also file a complaint with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (Authority for Personal Data). Finally, you are also spoken to in a very haughty manner on the phone. Landlords, think carefully before doing business with this real estate agent. This reflects poorly on you.

Fast and service-oriented!

My daughter had a house in mind and asked me to help her with the purchase. The selling real estate agent was Udo van Willingenburg. I have rarely met an agent with as much knowledge and integrity as Udo. He had an eye for the interests of both seller and buyer and knew the file in detail. A rare, fine guy!

Business owner renting a space that this company manages. Terrible service overall with little to no communication, even when they are the ones making mistakes. A cover-up for an absent landlord.

Thanks to Draaijer, I found my dream house. The entire process went smoothly and the communication was excellent. I am incredibly satisfied with my new place in Amsterdam!

Incredibly terrible company. I've been renting my apartment from them for over four years and they have never responded to my emails.

Worst experience! The company Draijer won't get far if they run their business with so much dishonesty; they have no work ethic at all. Sooner or later you will have to pay for your actions!

I am truly astonished at the way this company continues to exist. As a tenant, I have had a terrible experience. They treat their rent-paying customers disgustingly. If you are currently renting property managed by them, I genuinely sympathize with you and strongly advise you to seek a way out of your contract. No matter how long you've been with them, they show a complete lack of care for the relationship you may have built. The only way to get action is by threatening legal steps. This is without a doubt the worst property management company in the Netherlands. They do not respect either tenants or landlords. If you are considering working with them, I advise you to AVOID at all costs. Good luck to everyone dealing with this company, you'll need it.

They are scammers. They do not respect the contract and do not answer calls, the worst experience. They are not even able to write a new contract, they are just useless people, to be honest.

Regarding the substitution for the shop, landlord Draijer had been engaged. Unfortunately, communication with this office was far below standard for us, as (former) tenants. Unreachable or calls were not returned. Also, relevant matters were not passed on to us. Once you did speak to them, they were relatively clear about the matter. However, they didn't seem proactive.

Draijer forgot to transfer the guarantee of 7.5k and after a month we still had nothing. We had plumbers come by for 10 minutes and received an invoice of 400 euros because they supposedly spent 3.5 hours there. They withheld 415 euros due to cleaning costs while we had cleaned for 3 days and they used old photos as so-called “evidence”. Impudent scammers, don't start with them!

I am a tenant of a shop in De Pijp, we have had very clear problems with leaks or other issues in the shop for years. Raymond visits us and gives no feedback or action. When I call, they say that they can't do anything. As a shop owner, I become furious that this is how real estate is handled in Amsterdam, because we just want to take care of our business and they clearly aren’t. Absolutely terrible

Been working on a commercial property since December, sent from pillar to post every time. Even partners/brands who sent emails and called for clarification couldn't even find email correspondence from them or us. The person in charge of the property doesn't work or is never present, never returns calls or emails etc. We don't need it anymore.

Rented an apartment on Apollolaan. The apartment itself has been recently renovated and is in perfect condition. We had one interaction with the maintenance team and the problem was solved quickly and carefully. Even after we left it, we received the full deposit back in less than 3 weeks (the contract stipulated 4 weeks for this). Compared to our previous rental experience, that's definitely a different level!

Very dissatisfied!! I am not satisfied with the realtor who was present. We were not aware that it was an open house and were not treated correctly. The realtor did not look up when we arrived at the agreed time (no 'hello/welcome, you can look around and if you have any questions, please come to me') and showed no interest.

Disappointed in the poor condition under Landlord Draijer. The boiler house problem on Van Edisonstraat in Amsterdam seems known, but existing and older residents are denied CV (central heating) boilers, unlike new apartments. My report of serious mold problems received no response, which is not only frustrating but also harmful to the residents. The lack of action from Draijer is worrying and this review hopes for awareness and improvements.

Completely awful.

Absolutely terrible company with extremely poor communication and customer service. If you happen to rent something managed by this company, be aware that they only care about money. They don't keep conversations going at all unless they need money from you. The property I rent from them is old, in bad condition, and most likely illegally expanded in size, and they don't care about making it better for you. Stay away from them.

This broker is a quintessential exploiter of tenants, lived for 27 years in a rental property through these scammers, 3 legal cases via the rental committee, won against them, luckily found something else previously, paid then still less than €250 rent per month, due to leaks, mold, drafts, moisture, deferred maintenance, leaking roof, broken windows, name it! You get the rudest people on the phone when you call with a complaint, which was never addressed, waited more than 9 years for a sealant edge in the kitchen, truly terrible. If you rent through Draijer, the rental committee will become your best friend, you always win, they are also listed there as exploiters of tenants.

Leave elderly people to their fate. They are not helpful. And the lady who has to arrange solutions at this company also treats these 80+ year olds rudely. Very bad experiences with this company.

The company tries everything with questionable and some illegal practices to extract the maximum amount of money from your poorly maintained apartments and offers no useful support in case of problems. Avoid at all costs.

Nice house bought from Draijer, they had all documents in good order and were reachable.

Great experience with Draijer so far. We have now been living in a rental property in Amsterdam through Draijer for 1.5 years and have always received good assistance. Friendly staff and great prices for what you get. I was initially quite skeptical when I read the reviews, but we have had a great experience with Draijer so far.

I don't know this company, but I hope that in the future the Maintenance department will have more work done...

I had important financial questions about terms for my rental situation that suddenly changed. This was quite a troublesome situation for me to be in, so I had several questions about it, and the question of whether this could be right. There was a lot of miscommunication, which can naturally happen and isn't very bad. What really shocked me was the tone the woman/girl from the rental department took with me. I think I’ve never spoken to someone from a company on the phone who was so unkind and rude. When I asked if she was 100% sure, after finally getting a clear answer to my question, she became extremely irritated about the fact that I re-asked the same question. Quite a strange phone call overall. The operator who transferred me was luckily very friendly.

A true property speculator. A judge can see that too! Always take legal action when they rip you off.

Udo van Willingenburg was the man who worked with me for the appraisal of my apartment. I must say that he was very helpful and attentive. He also really knew the area where my house is located, and I appreciate that enormously, since I've had real estate agents who didn't even know if there were schools or supermarkets in the immediate vicinity! He was pragmatic and down-to-earth, without being rude or condescending - a quality that is far too often lacking in so-called professional services like these. I can highly recommend him.

Had a particularly bad experience with this real estate agent. At the beginning, we only received keys for the front door, but now that we are leaving, we suddenly have to pay costs for replacing the bedroom door locks, while we never received keys for those. In addition, the communication is really dramatic. The greed of this company is indescribable. Once a housemate changed, he had to pay 500 euros 'revenue costs' for the contract. While it's just a matter of terminating the lease agreement and applying for a new one. There was also an awful lot of deferred maintenance, which they didn't want to do anything about. We were ultimately kicked out because the owner wanted to renovate. But on the day we were filling holes, viewers (not communicated to us) suddenly came for new tenants.. I could go on with examples like this forever.. If you have the chance, definitely don't rent from Draaijer. By the way, all five-star reviews are just from the people who work there. So don't pay attention to those.

Scandalous organization! We have been dealing with leaks and mold in our bathroom and bedroom for over 9 months. They couldn't care less, they do what they feel like doing and don't give a damn about the tenants. I wonder how they themselves would want to react if they ever found themselves in a similar situation.

Unfortunately, no good experience. Requested multiple times, but no response! Calling doesn't work either, Mr. Udo van Willigenburg is always busy and doesn't want to talk to you!

Very bad real estate agency!!! More than a year of leaks and black mold and they don't respond anymore. Even if the house is as beautiful, don't go for it!

Excellent and fast communication and collaboration! Chantal was very helpful and always available to provide explanations and ensure that we had all the information needed to start our rental agreement and complete our move!

4 weeks after our move, we are still waiting for our deposit of 3000EUR!!!! They act as if this is normal, but for most people it's a lot of money, especially when you also have to pay a security deposit for the new place! It seems like they have some significant cash flow problems!

This realtor is very unprofessional; they also handle the management of their properties. However, you won't get a response when you send important emails. Maintenance of items is severely delayed and we received incorrect items twice for a freezer part with months between them. We have also caught this realtor lying to us multiple times. Absolutely DO NOT do business with this realtor!

Absolutely no respect for tenants. Also misleading and not in accordance with Dutch law. A dreadful company where their sole goal is to maximize profit for homeowners, without regard for common sense and decency.

Terrible service. Tampered rental agreements made for their own convenience, slow correspondence and no desire to help or be professional (they take half of your deposit without any reason). Be careful or better avoid contact with this agency.

I rented a place from Draijer, totally unprofessional service. No inspection at the beginning, nor after returning the property. No responsiveness from their maintenance service. Months of fighting to get my deposit back, which was reduced for an invalid reason. All in all, I will never deal with them again.

Recently sold my house, very satisfied with Udo van Willigenburg, he guided me well throughout the entire process from start to finish. Udo is professional, knows the market well, makes realistic proposals, willingness to explain all the information you receive and pleasant to deal with. Always easily accessible and goes the extra mile to ensure a smooth sale!

I am writing this review in English to make sure it reaches everyone, especially because there are many expats living in Amsterdam. We found an apartment and made an offer. Our offer was accepted, the second day we went to view the apartment one last time to finalize the last details. We heard that they had received a better offer and wanted to change the offer they gave us after they had accepted it. The most annoying thing is that they assured us that they don't work like that, literally saying: first come, first served with a good bid, we don’t play games. I think they do anyway, without any respect for professionalism. After we said that we would still stick to our original offer, we received a call from Udo stating: yes sorry, that’s how it works. The same man who assured us this wouldn't happen. Don't do business with them, they don't keep their word.

Being late for appointments. After the viewing, call yourself after 8 days and then hear that they are too busy. Amateurs..

Absolutely not recommended! No maintenance, bad service and unreachable. Be careful with this realtor.

Poor communication

I have been renting through this property manager for years and find that technical issues are resolved quickly and, above all, well.

Terrible. Rented for 15 years and happily just left now. A lot of deferred maintenance and when a clear problem is indicated, you are sent from pillar to post. After half a year, they might take action if you have called 100 times about the situation. TIP: Perhaps the people from the maintenance service should attend a communication course. And also learn how to deal with their customers. I won't even start about the arrogance of the real estate agent Rene Wouters to whom I had to hand over my rental property. Or maybe I will. Everything in action to not have to pay back the deposit.

Terrible. Deferred maintenance and the realtor hasn't been available at home for weeks. Unreachable and unreliable.

We can wholeheartedly recommend Udo van Willigenburg, Niek van der Sluijs and the team of Draijer real estate agency; there isn't a better one.

Poor telephone accessibility!

Very poorly renovated house in The Hague under contract with Draijer Vastgoed B.V. Many defective / poorly installed parts. (Including a leaking toilet, poorly installed kitchen and minimal score on insulation). Furthermore, difficult contact and it takes a long time to respond to emails.
