Robin handled the appraisal for the purchase of my first home. He thinks along and often also anticipates steps ahead, which ensures a smooth collaboration. One area for improvement is that Robin isn't directly reachable by phone and the reception has limited file knowledge. To resolve this, it would be helpful to be able to schedule a call appointment via a system/website.

After a previous positive experience, I had another appraisal carried out by Robin Emanuels. Just like the first time, the entire process was quick, professional and smooth. I got in touch and quickly received a phone call with an explanation and to schedule an appointment. This could already be done within a week. The appraisal in the house was skilled and very friendly. Contact went smoothly. After the appraisal, there was a conclusion within 3-4 days and after payment, the report became available. We recommend it!

Don't have an appraisal done by Emanuels Makelaardij! Sweet talk with an appointment within 24 hours and an appraisal report within a few days. After the viewing of my house, the appraiser cheerfully went skiing without mentioning it. Called for days in a row but they don't come up with a solution. Ultimately had to wait 3 weeks for an appraisal. That's how people get into trouble with their mortgage application! No apology or compensation afterwards either. Do yourself a favor and request an appraisal elsewhere.

Unfortunately very slow service. Do not request an appraisal report from this company. We are buying a house and we are now having problems getting a mortgage on time… simply because a report, which we paid for, still hasn't been sent to us after 2 weeks. Totally unacceptable. You are better off going to Desktop Taxatie and then you will have it in 4 hours for a quarter of the cost.

My friend was talking about how bad the service of this agency is. Slow, doesn't respond, not even after he knew how urgently the report had to be delivered to him. I am now also looking for an agency, because I am going to buy an apartment, and I certainly won’t consider this agency.

I wish I had read the reviews first before having Emanuel's Makelaardij prepare a valuation report. It took more than 14 days to generate a report that other brokers and online services could have generated in hours. And even after they filed the claim, the report was ready and we paid. The report still hasn't arrived, not within a few hours of payment. They also don't respond to your email asking for an update regarding 'Can you send me the report now that I have paid?'. They seem friendly on the phone, hence the 2 stars, but the delivery is terrible. It’s the type of real estate agency that gets you to pay and then doesn’t respond after payment.

Never again will I have an appraisal done by Robin. He's been working on it for half a year now and doesn't respond to emails or WhatsApp messages. When I call him, he's annoyed and shifts all responsibility. Now he has to come back again because the photos in the report wouldn't be up to date otherwise. Do you think it’s strange if it takes more than 6 months to do an appraisal? What a terrible movie this is. He's a friendly guy, but his talk is 1000 times faster than his work. Not recommended unfortunately.....

Friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable realtor. Tip about redeeming the ground lease will ultimately (The Municipality of Amsterdam isn't so quick.... ;) ) generate money. The helpdesk responds quickly to questions. Highly recommended!

We had an appraisal carried out by Emanuels Makelaardij. Almost 600 euros paid for a report with extremely many errors. It seemed more like an appraisal of another house! We have a very large garden, for example, and they overlooked that. Downstairs there is 1 large living room but according to the report there was a shower, two kitchens, two toilets and some walls. Maybe 1 on 1 copied from the old status of the house in the archive? Really so sloppy. We also have a very large shed, where a car, bicycles and lots of other things can be stored. With an upstairs even. In the report it stated that we had a storage room... Also, according to Emanuels, this is an apartment?? It's a detached house!!! They also overlooked a bedroom.... Really unbelievable how badly these people did their job. I certainly won’t be returning.

I wish I had looked at the reviews earlier, everything stated here is true. They don't honor their appointments and promises. I asked during initial contact how long it would take, I was told 5 to 10 days. I indicated that there was quite a rush. No problem they said. I had to wait almost two months for the reports and as a result, it ultimately cost me thousands of euros extra to finalize everything. In recent days, I called regularly, after which I received rather condescending remarks: ''If you keep calling, the appraisals won't be completed''. As if it was all my fault. Cheaper than others but cheap is expensive. In short, a wise and especially costly lesson. With this, I would advise everyone to think twice before entering into business with Emanuels Makelaardij.
