Very disappointing experience. First, we were told that we had placed the highest bid and congratulated on the purchase. After incurring extra costs for appraisal and other expenses, we were suddenly called with the message that the house had nevertheless been sold to someone else, despite our higher offer. The whole situation felt manipulated and disrespectful. It appears that the house was assigned to another buyer from the beginning. This is not a way of doing business. Very unprofessional.
