Disappointing experience – Unreliable communication – Lack of follow-up and professionalism I booked a call on April 18, 2025 with Expat Housing Network, where they pitched their services to sell houses throughout the Netherlands. I was initially impressed and decided to proceed. However, after expressing interest in hiring them, my emails remained unanswered. I rebooked a phone call on Friday, May 9, 2025, as I had not received a response – and no one answered the office phone after waiting approximately 15 minutes. Subsequently, a meeting was scheduled for today, May 12, 2025, to let me know whether they wanted to accept me as a client. I waited more than 10 minutes in Google Meet, but no one showed up. No communication, no follow-up, no apology. This level of service is very disappointing, especially from a company that claims to support expats with such an important process. I expected much more professionalism and reliability.

We came into contact with Lilet in 2025 through EHN to find a tenant for our building, and were immediately impressed by her professionalism. She took the lead throughout the entire process, from creating an excellent brochure for the apartment to recording important data and communicating information about potential clients, all the way to the final handover to the tenant. It felt so easy to work with her, one of the few cases these days where you can say that the service costs are very well spent.

I think it's invaluable to have reliable resources in your back pocket, especially as an expat to take away the mental burden of all the other challenges of navigating life here, and the EHN team has generally been wonderful throughout the almost two years that I’ve relied on them.

Give 1 star because unfortunately, 0 is not an option. The scheduled meeting to make the initial connection was cancelled without prior notice and the meeting itself would begin 15 minutes later. From the information I received from this agency, it appears that with a salary of €60,000/year, I cannot afford rent in the Netherlands. It is truly disappointing to realize that expats from the EU receive this level of support from an agency claiming to be expat-focused.

Finding a home in the Netherlands without the Expat Housing Network (EHN) would be enormously time-consuming. Given the current housing market and the complex bureaucratic processes that go with it, EHN has saved us a lot of time and streamlined the entire experience.
