Overall, I had a great experience with Expat Housing Network, despite my unique situation. I contacted them halfway through the process, after having received an offer on a house, and asked for help with checking documents, filling out the questionnaire, and the price investigation. They handled everything thoroughly. Unfortunately, the deal didn't go through after we saw the results of the building inspection, but EHN continued to support me throughout the entire process. I then requested a full service package, but because they did not have the capacity at that time, they offered a reasonable partial refund of the deposit. There was some miscommunication initially, as things were moving quite quickly, but despite this, I appreciate their professionalism and would wholeheartedly recommend them for real estate support!

A fantastic team. My representative was Lilet Lasala, she was so knowledgeable and well informed, she guided me through what I found a difficult process and found my dream apartment. After I had rented the property, they also put me in contact with Utility Direct, who helped me arrange my electricity, water and cable/internet providers. I cannot recommend them enough.

Disappointing experience – Unreliable communication – Lack of follow-up and professionalism I booked a call on April 18, 2025 with Expat Housing Network, where they pitched their services to sell houses throughout the Netherlands. I was initially impressed and decided to proceed. However, after expressing interest in hiring them, my emails remained unanswered. I rebooked a phone call on Friday, May 9, 2025, as I had not received a response – and no one answered the office phone after waiting approximately 15 minutes. Subsequently, a meeting was scheduled for today, May 12, 2025, to let me know whether they wanted to accept me as a client. I waited more than 10 minutes in Google Meet, but no one showed up. No communication, no follow-up, no apology. This level of service is very disappointing, especially from a company that claims to support expats with such an important process. I expected much more professionalism and reliability.

We came into contact with Lilet in 2025 through EHN to find a tenant for our building, and were immediately impressed by her professionalism. She took the lead throughout the entire process, from creating an excellent brochure for the apartment to recording important data and communicating information about potential clients, all the way to the final handover to the tenant. Giving 1 star, while it unfortunately is 0 stars, is not an option. The scheduled first appointment was cancelled without notice and 15 minutes after the appointment should have started. According to the information I received from this agency, with a yearly salary of €60,000, I cannot pay rent in the Netherlands. It is truly disappointing to realize that EU expats receive this level of support from an agency claiming to be expat-focused.

Finding a home in the Netherlands without the Expat Housing Network (EHN) would be enormously time-consuming. Given the current housing market and the complex bureaucratic processes that go with it, EHN saved us a lot of time and streamlined the entire experience.

Rick was an incredible help throughout the entire home-buying process, from start to finish! His knowledge and advice gave me a real advantage in a very competitive market. He was always quick and flexible in his communication and ensured that I was well informed at every step.
