My apartment rented via Expat Rentals and helped by both Guido and Spencer extremely well. Even after the tenant started to completely turn around, they helped me extremely well, mediated, and knew how to bring it to a good end. I am extremely grateful for that! Definitely recommend as an agent, nice men, think well with you and are good at their job.

Just like someone else shared their experience - I am in a similar situation where this real estate agency refuses to return a significant portion of the deposit. This after already waiting and negotiating for 1.5 months with 'Spencer Abel', whom I understand is also a co-owner. Overall, quite a negative experience with this person, as he claimed several things during the pre- and final inspection and then tried to pressure me into paying for things that he said would not be deductible. I strongly advise you not to do business with this company or this person. My case will most likely result in a lawsuit and I will update this review with the outcome. To everyone considering doing business with this company: stay away.

At 12:00 I was standing at the door because someone was coming to view the property that I want to rent out.....I'm still waiting, while the appointment was simply made and confirmed by email. No time for this kind of unprofessional behavior grrrrrr

A rather bad experience with this group. After my move, they refused to return the significant deposit for more than two months (a breach of contract terms), until I threatened legal action. Subsequently, they retained a significant portion of the deposit to pay for several disputed items. After moving out, you have little recourse against such dubious practices without considerable effort. I advise engaging a reliable landlord, or otherwise not paying the last two months' rent. They cannot evict you and you can finally negotiate fairly for the return of the deposit. Good luck to anyone working with these people.

They are not mediators, but simply enforcers of the landlord's wishes. Do not trust them and do not enter into agreements with them. They are by far the worst!

Very happy with the service and people who come to my house. Never any problems, and everything is resolved in good consultation. It can sometimes take a while to find the right person, but I prefer that to someone being quickly placed and potentially unsuitable, because there have been several times when Expat Rentals felt that a candidate might not be the right tenant for me and could cause some problems. Based on much experience, they feel this well and I am very happy with it. I also don't need to be present at viewings, handover and checks. Saves me an enormous amount of time and hassle.
