I worked with Fred for the purchase of an apartment in Amsterdam. Fred was very professional throughout the entire process and helped me find an apartment. Fred is very experienced and knew every neighborhood in Amsterdam very well. He did thorough research on each property before making a bid, to ensure that the price was fair and that we didn't overpay. Fred did his utmost for us by negotiating the price several times, taking into account all limitations we had at each step during the negotiations and even discovered some discrepancies on the seller’s side in the documents for the apartment we bought. I would highly recommend him!

What a terrible experience we had when Fred and his son rented us the apartment. Truley is one of the worst and most unprofessional real estate agents in the world, let alone the Netherlands. He even tried to threaten my family for extra money. If you are going to view, all the good reviews are clearly fake and from him or his family. The mountains of bad experiences speak volumes. Do not work with this company.

Mmmm. Go to the professionals, that's the only thing I can say. Do you expect a broker by your side? Don't expect it from Fred, you’re just on your own. So if you really want a broker, choose professionals.

Very reliable
The most unprofessional realtor I have ever met. During the viewing, Freddy made jokes about the previous tenant being poor and about the condition of the apartment. After the sale, he avoided contact and never even answered our questions.
We chose Fred and his team to manage our apartment after we had hesitated to sell or rent it out. We paid one month's rent to Fred Koot Makelaardij in exchange for their services in finding a tenant and managing the property. Fred handed over the keys 10 days before the start of the contract to the tenant. We complained, and then he terminated our agreement. And now the tenant is not paying her rent. Do not trust them with your property.
