Very very very bad!!

‼️ Israeli office. Palestinians and Arabs avoid this office, because you are treated rudely ‼️ The lady on the phone was very impolite and absolutely lacked patience. She spoke to me as if I were stupid, and I just had some questions. So I told her that I would go to another housing agency and hung up. She called back, clearly feeling guilty, but never apologized. It is important to mention that there are multiple reviews from Israelis who say they are happy with an Israeli office. The lady on the phone had a strong Israeli accent and we clearly stated in our email that I am Palestinian.

The lady who called us was very rude to my partner on the phone.

Ganavim! Tali plays games and tries to persuade you to buy, while at the same time not showing you houses if she can avoid the work. As an Israeli-American, I felt more comfortable with an Israeli rental agency for the tricky process of an apartment in Amsterdam. I told our realtor, Tali, that we have a good income, but that we were only in the city for three days and would like to view apartments. Tali told us that we should pay at least $3,000 - $3,500 for a two-bedroom apartment or a one-bedroom apartment with a door. There was nothing cheaper available. She also said that we might not even get that with our two cats. When I said we only needed one bedroom, she said no, you need at least two bedrooms for your work. (Was she planning to move in with us? 🤣) We asked for a small apartment in the center of Amsterdam. In the three days we were in the city, she didn't show us any apartments and said she had nothing available, but she did push for us to rent a house in the countryside that didn’t meet our wishes. Luckily, hausing.com came to the rescue. You book viewings online yourself, and we were able to view about three apartments in the $2,500 price range before we left. Besides not being able to find her office on the map, the worst part was when we ran into her at a viewing of a two-bedroom apartment with an asking price of $2,800, which she hadn’t told us about. I think she was trying to convince her own people. hitbayshu!

Where to begin... I have to say that the housing market in the Netherlands, especially in and around Amsterdam, was a learning but also shocking experience. It is absolutely not easy for renters to find an apartment, especially if you are a student, as there has been a shortage of homes for quite some time (and is). Every student, and even those who have lived in the city for a while, are looking for a new home. I am therefore so relieved that we were able to find and secure a nice apartment for our children after just under two weeks in Amsterdam. Of course, this didn't happen without encountering many scammers and dodging bullets twice. We found an angel/lifesaver, who is somewhat named Michel Azoulay. His company is called Lavi Consulting and he is a partner of Dov Sabo from G & D & Y Housing. We met Michel and Dov Sabo, who actually didn't really need another client to find an apartment for them, because they are not short on clients asking for their services. We are therefore incredibly grateful and eternally grateful for the time and effort they took to help us. I literally found a property for sale in the middle of the night, I told Michel that I would like to see it and he was able to arrange a viewing that morning! We were so happy with it that we bought it immediately! Against all other renters, we won the apartment and now the children are there too! (Did I already mention that we were only there for 13 days?) This really happened because Michel Azoulay fought for us and ensured that we had the best chance of getting the apartment. He really worked hard, guided us through everything and made sure we were constantly kept informed. He spoke with the real estate agent and was on top of everything. He made sure all contracts were correct and translated into English by a registered Dutch translator. He was very professional, patient and truly understood our needs. His dedication and hard work, in my opinion, made the difference in getting the apartment. I am really grateful for that.
