Very very bad!!

‼️ Israeli agency. Palestinians and Arabs avoid this agency because you will be treated roughly ‼️ The lady on the phone was very rude and absolutely had no patience. She spoke to me as if I were stupid, and I just had some questions to ask. So I told her that I was going to another housing agency and hung up. Then she called back, clearly feeling guilty, but never apologized. It is important to mention that there are multiple reviews from Israelis saying they are happy to find an Israeli bureau. The lady on the phone had a thick Israeli accent and we clearly indicated in our email that I am Palestinian.

The lady who called us was very rude to my partner on the phone.

Ganavim! Tali plays games and tries to sell you, while also not showing you places personally if she can avoid the work. As an Israeli-American, I felt more comfortable going to an Israeli rental company for the difficult process of getting an apartment in Amsterdam. I told our realtor, Tali, that we have a good income, but we had only been in the city for three days and would like to view apartments. Tali told us that to get a one-bedroom with 2 bedrooms or a one-bedroom with a door, we would need to pay at least $3,000 - $3,500. Nothing cheaper was available. She also said that we might not even get that with our two cats. When I said we only needed one bedroom, she said no, you need at least two bedrooms for work. (Was she planning on moving in with us? 🤣) We asked for a small apartment in the center of Amsterdam. In the three days we were in the city, she didn't show us any apartments and said she had nothing available, but she encouraged us to rent a house in the countryside that did not meet everything we asked for. Luckily, hausing.com saved the day. You book viewings yourself online and we were able to view about 3 apartments in the $2,500 price range before we left. Aside from the fact that we couldn't find her office on a map, the worst part was when we ran into her at a two-bedroom showing with an asking price of $2,800 which she hadn't told us about. I think she was trying to sell her own people. hitbayshu!

Where to begin…I must say that the housing market in the Netherlands, especially in and around Amsterdam, was an informative but harrowing experience. For renters it is really not easy to find an apartment, certainly not if you are a student tenant, as there has been a shortage of homes for quite some time. Every student and even everyone who has already lived in the city for a while is looking for a new home. I am so relieved that we were able to find and secure a nice apartment for our children after being in Amsterdam for just under two weeks. This, of course, didn't happen without us encountering many scammers and dodging bullets twice. We did however find an angel / savior, somewhat named Michel Azoulay. His company is Lavi Consulting and he is an employee of Dov Sabo from G & D & Y Housing. We met Michel and Dov Sabo, who actually didn’t need another client to ask them to search for an apartment for them, as there is no shortage of clients clamoring for their services. We are therefore truly blessed and forever grateful for the time and effort they took to help us. I literally found an ad in the middle of the night, I told Michel that I would like to see him and he could view it that morning! We loved it and said: let's grab it! Against all other tenants we won the apartment and now the children have already moved in! (Did I already mention that we were only there for 13 days?) This was truly thanks to the fact that Michel Azoulay fought for us and ensured that we had the best chance against everyone else to acquire the apartment. He really worked hard, guided us through everything and made sure we were constantly kept informed. He spoke with the real estate agent of the landlord and was on top of everything. He made sure all contracts were legitimate and translated into English by a registered Dutch translator. He was very professional, patient and truly understood our needs. I think his dedication and hard work made the difference in obtaining the apartment. I am truly grateful for this. Total fraudsters! Stay away! From false invoices to a complete lack of management, making decisions without your approval!! Not recommended at all! Dov Sabo is the worst ‘manager’ there is. Totally shady business!
