Jerry was helpful until the sale was closed, but he has not provided the documents he promised to send to the notary since January and is unreachable and ignores phone calls regarding a disagreement with the seller. Regarding the response: I requested the documents on 19.12.2023 and Jerry kept the message unread until today. I am writing notes here. The agent of the seller tried to contact him on Wednesday (2 days ago), he did not respond. I have tried to contact him and called him twice yesterday, both at the office and on his number. He didn't react until I wrote this note. I understand that it is not your duty to help, but ignoring calls and hoping the matter will go away is neither professional nor helpful. It takes a total of 1 minute to write a message or email stating: 'Sorry, we cannot assist you further. Discuss the matter with your lawyer.' The reason for this 2-star review and this comment does not stem from an expectation of free help, but from a lack of communication and ignoring behavior and failing to keep his word. Everything goes well until the bureau is paid. After that, it's difficult to get a simple answer. Also calling me and saying 'we don't do things this way in the Netherlands' and trying to change all of this because I am a foreigner was quite disappointing.

Just viewed a house that they've 'sold' in the meantime there were 5-6 people standing and the 'broker' said nothing when I walked in after seeing another group leave the house. It's a tactic, I understand that but this is the most aggressive version ever. I will avoid them as the selling party from now on.

Had a very nice experience with Geldhof. My girlfriend and I viewed several rental properties through Geldhof. When we called them to schedule a viewing, we could usually come by just a few days later. Through Geldhof, we now have a perfect rental property in Amsterdam!

Worst realtor in Amsterdam, they tried to sell my property for a long time but they don't execute anything. Then went to another party and sold it the same week. Stay away from here!

Avoid at all costs! They gave me a viewing location, I arrived on time at the location and there was nobody. I called the office 5 minutes after ringing and they told me their colleague had already left. You may risk losing your job if you go to viewings at unreasonable times and they don't even bother to show up. Let's not even mention that you get a house without flooring, so you pay an extra € 5000 for flooring.

Geldhof was the selling real estate agency when I bought my apartment. The communication preceding the purchase was a challenge, as I often had to chase them multiple times for answers. There were some minor items to finalize the sale, including issues with the apartment that the seller would need to repair. It is now two months since I moved in, and I am still chasing the agent, Jerry, without response. I will definitely avoid working with them on my next purchase.

Just another realtor who doesn't care at all about who is going to rent and why, and also isn't prepared at all for information about the property. I had a viewing last Friday, I asked several questions about the type of heating, why you have to pay 50,- monthly for the costs, who is the owner of the apartment... normal things you want to know before signing a rental contract for an apartment that costs 2000 euros per month! The situation regarding renting an apartment in the Netherlands is generally very catastrophic, I at least expect to find someone who can really help you... but for all realtors, especially in the big cities, you are just someone, they don't do that. They didn't even ask me my name last week! If it isn't you, there’s another one, the apartment is already gone within an hour!

I needed an appraisal for a new-build home and I needed it quickly because I was in the final phase of my mortgage process. Most of the real estate agents I called could not offer this service, or they were ´´too busy´´ to do it quickly, or they were simply too expensive. Geldhof, however, offered me the possibility to do it urgently for a fair price and they exceeded my expectations when they did it in 1 working day! They are not only fast but also professional, they delivered high-quality work that was accepted by the bank. I highly recommend them.

Request to view two properties this week, both represented by geldhof.nl. I was rejected for one property because they had too many requests, so perhaps they could send me a video instead. They did not provide this service. For the second property, they gave me a time slot mid-week the next day. I asked for a later appointment, to which they replied that they would be at the accommodation at 14:00, so 16:40 would be too late for them. Because they want to rent to working professionals, I am shocked that there was no flexibility. Daphne offered me another slot 10 days later (it turns out to be the same lady who rejected my request to view the first property). It is clear that this is not a priority for them. For homeowners who want a professional company to do its best to screen the best possible tenants and have your property presented to as many potential tenants as possible, then geldhof.nl should not be your first, second or even last choice. Poor service all around.

Jerry approached for an appraisal of my new home. I haven't had to worry about a thing; he arranged everything with the selling realtor. Within a few days, everything was ready. Fast and good!

Very bad experience with this broker during my purchase of a parking garage. The first appointment was not kept (no one simply showed up), the second appointment they had forgotten the key (apparently that happens more often), the third appointment an offer was made directly and the same afternoon I received confirmation by phone that the sale would proceed. Then it remained silent for 2 days and I was told that there is another bidder who has offered the same amount... Very dubious way of doing business with this office.

UPDATE: Gwendoline's colleague apologized to me after seeing this review. I appreciate his approach and effort to make things right for me. That awful woman named Gwendoline van der Linden is the most rude old woman with absolutely terrible customer service in all of the Netherlands! I only asked for their flexibility if I could arrive 15 minutes earlier for my appointment and she gave me excuses and accused me of not listening to her. Usually, all these brokers let people in without even checking every scheduled appointment. Then she hung up when I explained why I needed to come early. Learn proper customer service somewhere. Otherwise, just retire! Shame on you, woman!

Within a month, two viewings, a rental agreement signed and immediately the keys in hand... and that in Amsterdam; great!
