The realtor had good knowledge but I had to improve a lot, such as starting with a higher asking price. The photos were very mediocre, but moreover the selection and order weren't appealing. I had myself taken much better photos. When those were in the correct order online, requests started to come in. Why 3 stars Communication This was really inconsistent. We did have a consistent contact person, who was sometimes 'replaced' by a 2nd or 3rd colleague due to illness or vacation. The flow of information often went very slowly. Often we had to call to follow up. We put our house on the market during a difficult and uncertain period, which made it nice to stay informed. Regarding viewings, this was generally reported back. We mainly noticed some rigidity when it came to our own input. Sales Winter is already somewhat thinner with sales and due to the then uncertain market, that was also inconsistent in viewers. At first we still lived there as a family and then it's difficult to show it 'empty empty empty'. When moving, we left the house ready for wallpapering. There were also cluster moments back then. The first time it took a long time before the house went on sale. Floor plan that always didn't match, poorly accessible and unclear reasons when it was finally offered in late November. Shortly after the move, we withdrew the house and offered it again in February. That same month led to a sale. The second time it went more smoothly. Final Sale With interested parties, a plan was devised, advised. With the last offer we were satisfied and things could be settled. Everything went smoothly there. It became a little uncomfortable during the last viewing for checking the house, with questions and comments that you are supposed to ask as a buyer before buying. Last year, I bought a house through this real estate agent. It turned out that there was a huge leak hidden, which was concealed before the sale behind a new layer of plaster. A structural survey did reveal that there was a leak, but not that it had been ongoing for years and deliberately concealed. According to the real estate agent, everything that was wrong was VVE work, but afterwards it turned out that the seller was indeed responsible. After purchase, there was also hardly any response from the real estate agent and the seller. Meanwhile, we are a year further on and part of the house is still not ready (a bedroom is unusable). So not trustworthy.

Very bad experience with Hoekstra and Van Eck. The appraisal was carried out by someone lacking social skills. The appraiser was rude, uninterested, and did not keep his appointment. The delivered report seemed like cut-and-paste work, more like a draft and completely unusable. When we asked questions about this, we received blunt responses. Despite submitting a complaint, there has been no acknowledgement of the processing time. It was simply said that they were busy without a real explanation. We have now paid the invoice, but the service was far below standard.
