I had a very negative experience with this real estate agency. The service was unprofessional and the communication was both poor and intimidating. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, they failed to return my deposit, as well as one month's rent, which was mistakenly transferred. I would strongly advise others to avoid this office.

Bad service. We had an appointment to view a property in The Hague at 9:30 am. We live far away and had to cycle for half an hour to be on time at the location. When we arrived, there was no one there. Both my husband and I called them, but received no answer. We also sent them a message, but received no response either. We waited for half an hour and then left. They never offered their apologies for not showing up. Perhaps this is a good real estate agency if you are the customer who buys or rents a house, but as potential candidates who showed up, we were completely disappointed - and have never had such an experience before. Very disrespectful.

There are no rental properties left on this site, as you can see on their website. 2 months ago, the Indian man Amin said I had to submit all my documents, income passport, bank account, he said I would have a viewing at the end of this week, but he never contacted me again. They only create this website and reviews to make it look like they have 5 stars. Extra cautious.

'Very pleasant collaboration, thoughtful and very helpful.'

We are an American expat couple who moved to Amsterdam in July 2021. We found Amin online in April through an expat Facebook group, about 2.5 months before our moving date. We were referred to the business website IncityRealEstate.nl to fill out a rental registration form. Shortly thereafter, Amin contacted us by email and informed us of an available rental property in Amsterdam that met our budget and specifications. We set up a 'virtual viewing' via WhatsApp video chat to take a tour while we were still living in California. The host was also present at this appointment, and together they answered all my questions. We were asked to submit a rental application including our income and a short introduction. After our application was accepted by the landlord, we were able to deposit a security deposit of 1/2 of the total rent guarantee. We did this via a transfer through an American bank. Closer to the move, we transferred the remaining security deposit and the first month's rent and received a written/signed rental agreement that was needed for moving our household goods and for immigration/visa purposes. On the check-in and check-out date, Amin met us at the apartment. His check-in procedure was very professionally done and very thorough. He took pictures of the utility meters, which later proved to be very useful when setting up a utility contract. The entire process with Amin @ IncityRealEstate went very professionally and smoothly. I think we were extremely lucky to have Amin, who has provided excellent and professional service to both the tenant and the landlord. I hope that this detailed description of our rental acquisition process can help future expats regarding the timeline and what they can expect. I study at the University of Amsterdam, a few months old, I find this valuable company, and then I asked them to find a house that is not only reasonable but also comfortable near the Zuidas. They are very respectful and responsive. When I send messages to their WhatsApp or another platform, they speak with me in a very appropriate manner. Personally, if I want to find a house next year from my education in this country, I will ask them to find a house. The most important thing that I like about them is that they can speak in my mother tongue, and that is so enough that I will ask them to help with finding a house.

I had a very good experience with the real estate agency, but more precisely with Amin, one of the brokers. I had the viewing in no time at all. As soon as I decided to take the apartment, he started preparing the paperwork until 11:00 PM, so that I could move as quickly as possible, depending on my needs. Everything went smoothly and only 2 days later I signed my contract and moved into my new apartment. I can't complain at all, I honestly recommend it to everyone looking for a place; we all know how difficult it is to find a place in Amsterdam and how many scammers there are around. They don’t even ask for the commission of 1 month, I paid the regular deposit and the rent to move in... I have definitely found my trusted broker.

We have finalized a deal in our move from California to The Hague (Kraayenstein). Amin is multilingual, intelligent, responsive and, in my opinion, better to deal with than the traditional Dutch real estate agents, because he has a pragmatic, 'let's just do it' mentality. Some other agents didn’t handle the expat client well, as he did. I would highly recommend Amin and Incity Real Estate, especially for expats.
