Two years ago I posted a five-star review for JLG which I unfortunately just removed. Apparently the service is perfect if you want to rent a property, but this changes completely when you leave the property. Extremely rude and degrading employee on the phone, unreachability by email, multiple false promises and rent that is still being debited from my account two months after departure. Excuses don't make up for it, I am unfortunately left with a very unpleasant feeling.

Long overdue, but Joeri is a rockstar! It was my first time moving abroad and he helped me at every step. Right before I flew there, he already did video viewings of potential apartments. He is very detailed and honest. When we viewed apartments, he was a great real estate agent who helped me find a nice home for myself and my dog, which is already difficult with a limited housing supply. There were some setbacks along the way, but he was there to bring everything to a good end. I can't recommend JLG and especially Joeri enough for finding your next home!

Ik ben verbaasd dat er überhaupt positieve recensies zijn, maar na het lezen van de negatieve recensies komt mijn ervaring perfect overeen. Allereerst rekende dit bedrijf me bemiddelingskosten aan. Als expat wist ik niet dat dit niet legaal is. Er bestaat een organisatie die expats helpt hun geld terug te krijgen van malafide bedrijven zoals deze, en daar ga ik zeker actie tegen ondernemen. Bij het betrekken van het appartement bleek een groot deel van de woning niet in orde te zijn, van kapotte toiletten tot loshangende elektriciteitsdraden. Voor de prijs van dit volledig gemeubileerde appartement was ik geschokt. Maar het werd alleen maar erger. Na de verhuizing werden we op geen enkele manier geïnformeerd over hoe we het beste konden communiceren. Pas na zes maanden kwam ik erachter dat er een portaal is om problemen en meldingen te melden, maar daar was me nooit over verteld. Als ik JLG probeerde te mailen of te WhatsAppen, reageerden ze gewoon niet. Op een gegeven moment voegde ik JLG toe aan een WhatsApp-gesprek met de verhuurder om een ​​probleem op te lossen, maar de medewerker van JLG verliet het gesprek zonder enige uitleg. Het heeft me zes maanden gekost om erachter te komen dat er een portaal is om problemen te melden. Ik had problemen met het water in huis, geen douches, geen wastafels, geen wasmachine, enzovoort, en ze zeiden dat ze niet zagen hoe ze me hiermee konden helpen. Als ik expats die een makelaar zoeken of verhuurders die een vastgoedbeheerder zoeken één advies mag geven: MIJD DIT BEDRIJF TEN ALLE KOSTEN. Een hond in een trenchcoat zou een huis beter beheren dan deze mensen.
