Two years ago I posted a five-star review for JLG which I unfortunately just removed. Apparently the service is perfect if you want to rent a property, but this changes completely when you leave the property. Extremely rude and degrading employee on the phone, unreachability by email, multiple false promises and rent that is still being debited from my account two months after departure. Excuses don't make up for it, I am unfortunately left with a very unpleasant feeling.

Long overdue, but Joeri is a rockstar! It was my first time moving abroad and he helped me at every step. Right before I flew there, he already did video viewings of potential apartments. He is very detailed and honest. When we viewed apartments, he was a great real estate agent who helped me find a nice home for myself and my dog, which is already difficult with a limited housing supply. There were some setbacks along the way, but he was there to bring everything to a good end. I can't recommend JLG and especially Joeri enough for finding your next home!

I am surprised that there are any positive reviews at all, but after reading the negative reviews, my experience matches perfectly. First of all, this company charged me intermediary fees. As an expat, I did not know that this is not legal. There is an organization that helps expats get their money back from fraudulent companies like this, and I will definitely take action against them. When moving into the apartment, it turned out that a large part of the property was not in order, from broken toilets to hanging electric wires. I was shocked by the price of this fully furnished apartment. But it only got worse. After moving in, we were not informed in any way about how to best communicate. Only after six months did I find out that there is a portal to report problems and complaints, but I was never told about it. When I tried to email or WhatsApp JLG, they simply did not respond. At one point, I added JLG to a WhatsApp conversation with the landlord to resolve an issue, but the JLG employee left the conversation without any explanation. It took me six months to find out that there is a portal to report problems. I had issues with the water in the house, no showers, no sinks, no washing machine, etc., and they said they did not see how they could help me with this. Then the TV broke seven weeks ago and since then it has been a huge effort to get them to solve the problem. At this point, I have given up on this company doing anything and solved the problem myself. Now I need to withhold the rent from their accounts to cover my costs. I have also had multiple encounters with direct sexism from their side, and even my partner was shocked by how they treated me as a woman - as if I cannot make decisions or do not know what I am talking about, while I am the main breadwinner in our family and these decisions should be made by me. If I may give one piece of advice to expats looking for a real estate agent or landlords looking for a property manager: AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. A dog in a trench coat would manage a house better than these people.
