I am extremely satisfied with the real estate agency Oei Housing! Especially their video tour was very professional, which allowed us to finalize the deal from abroad. A real recommendation!
Be careful with this office, the owner is dishonest: my friend and I visited a house for which we had applied by handing over the requested documents. Afterwards, we received a written confirmation from this person stating that we had been selected and that we could stop looking, because he would send us the contracts the next day. The next day passed without any news, so I decided to send a reminder. Ultimately, I received an e-mail with the message that in the end a better profile had been selected...
Explanation of the process: A contract is only final and legally binding once the lease agreement has been signed by both the landlord and the tenant(s). The contract is fully completed once the tenant has paid the deposit. We are not yet in this phase of the rental process. Before signing, both the landlord and the tenant can still change their minds. The landlord can at that moment look for another tenant. At the same time, the tenant can choose another property.

Alwin is a fantastic person and therefore also an excellent real estate agent. His honest communication makes finding a home in Amsterdam much easier. Moreover, he gives valuable advice to both tenants and landlords, which makes life a lot simpler.
I recently rented an apartment in Amsterdam through OEI Housing. I was living in London when I was looking for a property, so I couldn't view the apartment. I relied on the photos and video on OEI Housing's website, and when I finally visited the apartment, it was exactly as shown online (and even better). Alwin was a great help throughout the entire process. I would absolutely recommend OEI Housing.
We had an amazing experience renting through Oei Housing. Alwin is very professional, transparent and friendly. The process went smoothly, thoroughly and quickly, and the house is really wonderful. The videos were great. Definitely a recommendation!

Uitstekende service! Van bezichtiging en kennismaking met de verhuurder tot sleuteloverdracht, alles verliep binnen 5 dagen. Als expat die op zoek is naar een nieuwe woning, kan Alwin u zeker helpen. Een echte aanrader.

We willen iedereen graag helpen. Helaas hebben we niet voor iedereen een geschikte woning. We want to assist everybody. Unfortunately we don't have suitable apartments for everybody.
Het huren van ons appartement via Oei Housing ging supersnel en makkelijk! We konden alles volledig online regelen en binnen een paar dagen was het papierwerk in orde. Het appartement ziet er nog beter uit dan in de video en we zijn er erg blij mee 😊 …
