The Perfect House truly lives up to their name! But seriously, the average real estate agent in Amsterdam can be quite arrogant due to the craziness of the housing market. This review has been extended in response to the reaction to the original review. I have rented a houseboat for a year through The Perfect House. I have contacted Jasper. I am deeply disappointed with the behavior and attitude that I experienced. I found them unprofessional, rude, and unfriendly. I would not recommend them. In response to the reaction to my above review: More than two weeks ago you offered me the opportunity to sit down and talk in order to find a solution. I immediately replied with dates and times when I was available and an offer to look for others if no one fit. I have not yet received a response to that. I also asked for sympathy by offering part of my deposit to help me with the payment of my new apartment. Again, I have received no response. It is only thanks to the sympathy of my new landlord and her willingness to allow me to split my deposit over two months that I have not ended up in a difficult financial situation. The costs for replacing the damage to the boat (which I did not cause) can in no way even amount to 50% of my deposit. I would like nothing more than to resolve this situation. The word is with you.

Hoi Nick, bedankt voor je recensie en wat vervelend om te horen dat je teleurgesteld bent over de service. Maar wat bedoel je daarmee, voor zover wij weten? Je hebt inderdaad een jaar lang een woonboot bij ons gehuurd. Je hebt de boot in januari achtergelaten met ernstige schade (het aanrechtblad is gebarsten en moet vervangen worden), en we zijn nog steeds bezig om dit met de huiseigenaar op te lossen. Ik denk niet dat we ooit onaardig en onbeschoft zijn geweest, zoals jij beweert. En als dat wel zo is, laat ons dan weten wanneer en hoe, zodat we dit kunnen onderzoeken.
