I made an appointment to view an apartment and provided all the necessary information. However, I arrived 10 minutes late at the address because I was not familiar with the area. To my surprise, the realtor had already left without informing me or attempting to contact me. When I called the agent, I was told that they had left and tried to call me unsuccessfully. Although I understand that delays can occur, I find it hard to believe that a missed call would not have been recorded on my phone, especially since notifications for missed calls are standard. Furthermore, it was strange that the agent was back at the office only 15 minutes later. Moreover, they let me reschedule the appointment, but later contacted me with the message that the apartment was no longer available. This experience is admittedly just one incident, but gives rise to concern about the management of this agency. Communication is crucial in the real estate sector, and this situation reflects poorly on their professionalism. I hope they can improve their processes for the future. It is already very frustrating to look for a place in Amsterdam and these experiences make it even more challenging. A phone call and some respect are not much to ask.

Buying real estate with a broker is generally a bad idea. If you still want one, don't choose this one; if you would still want to choose it, don't work with Stephanie Bruin!!! At first she may seem all good and friendly, but later you will discover how unprofessional her work is. She usually defends the selling side, just to convince you to buy (it doesn't matter). Also be prepared that you will see her totally different face once she knows that you are buying something and the deal will almost certainly be closed. Not recommended!!!
