I had made an appointment to view an apartment and provided all the necessary information. However, I arrived 10 minutes late at the address because I did not know the area. To my surprise, the real estate agent had already left without warning me or trying to contact me. When I called the agent, I was told that he had left and had unsuccessfully tried to call me. While I understand that delays can occur, I find it hard to believe that a missed call would not have been recorded on my phone, especially since missed call notifications are standard. Furthermore, it was strange that the agent was back at the office only 15 minutes later. Moreover, they let me reschedule the appointment, but later they contacted me and said that the apartment was no longer available. This experience, although just one incident, raises concerns about the management of this office. Communication is essential in real estate and this situation casts a bad light on their professionalism. I hope that they can improve their processes in the future. It is already frustrating to search for a home in Amsterdam and these experiences make it even more challenging. A phone call and some respect are not much asked for.

Buying a house with a real estate agent is generally a bad idea. If you want one anyway, don't choose this one; if you want one anyway, don't go into business with Stephanie Bruin!!! She may seem very nice and friendly at first, but later you will notice how unprofessional her work is. For example, she usually defends the selling party to convince you to buy (what difference does it make). Also be prepared that you will see her face completely differently once she knows you're buying and the deal is almost certainly finalized. Not recommended!!!
