After a round of visits to various properties, we chose RKZ brokers because they handle both sales and purchases, and because Tim seemed like a pleasant person. A number of viewings followed, crisscrossing Amsterdam. Tim helped us learn what to look for, listing the pros and cons of the houses, and naturally asking sharp questions of the selling agents. It was a pleasant process, and we almost felt bad when we actually proceeded with bidding. Tim was completely in his element during this process, and ensured that we could immediately place the best offer. Afterwards, we were well assisted with everything that needed to be arranged, and the final details were smoothed out during the key handover by Rosalie. Subsequently, Tim assisted us with the sale and took all the cheerful tasks out of our hands. He thought along with us about the sales strategy and arranged a relaxed photographer. For the viewings, we let him do his work with peace of mind because he is simply very sociable and a good salesperson. The house was sold quickly, and the subsequent handling also went smoothly. All in all: highly recommended ;)

I found the added value of RKZ as a buyer's agent in my purchase limited. I briefly viewed the apartment on my own and then had to quickly make an offer. Once I was committed to the purchase, certain disadvantages of the apartment became clear to me (which did cause me some concern). That is normal in the Amsterdam housing market but RKZ as a buyer's agent doesn't add anything to that (and it does cost money, of course). What is good is that they indicated a range of what is being offered in Amsterdam. I found the communication somewhat inconsistent (very quick responses to messages, but I had to call several times to receive the purchase documents).
