Poor communication and a lack of solution-oriented approach. Our appointment was allegedly cancelled, but I never received an email about this at the usual email address where all contact took place, including the appointment confirmation. It was also claimed that an SMS had been sent, but it cannot be found anywhere. When I expressed my disappointment to Omid and tried to find out where things went wrong, I was told they didn't want to investigate this and that I was simply unlucky. No effort to find a solution. Very disappointing experience, absolutely not recommended!

Our experience with Gisele Nader lasted 3-4 weeks. Initially, she demonstrated knowledge and clarity in explaining the purchasing process. However, due to her unprofessional behavior in later stages, we questioned the actual value of working with her: - Lack of professionalism: During her vacation, a colleague of Gisele intervened to help us view an apartment due to a tight schedule. Gisele subsequently informed us that neither she nor her colleagues would be available for future viewings, which led to the termination of the service contract during the preparation of the bids. The unprofessionalism of Her & VK Makelaar prevented us from viewing the same apartment with another agent and hindered our bid preparation, causing us to lose our dream apartment. - Lack of proactive viewings: we had to arrange viewings ourselves and Gisele's response time was too slow. We could not rely on her at all; she did not schedule any viewings for us. - Misalignment with our preferences: Despite clear communication about our desired search area, Gisele only sent properties in areas that we wanted to avoid. But don't even expect to receive property recommendations. When we reminded her of our wishes, she felt offended instead of trying to understand the needs of her client. - Unfulfilled promises: Gisele failed to view a house that she had promised to view, forcing us to make an offer without her advice on potential defects and renovation costs. None of her colleagues made any effort to view the property we were so eager to see. - Her speed & mentality are not sufficient for the heated market. She does the absolute minimum. It turned out to be the best choice, because within 2 months we finally found an apartment that suits us as a family, but is also well connected to Haarlem and falls within our budget. During the search process, we worked closely with Kim van Straten, and she responded quickly to all apartment advertisements that we would share. Unfortunately, many landlords do not respond due to high demand, but for those who did, she made sure they passed on our information correctly, organized the viewing, sent us photos and videos, and provided all the information we needed to make a decision. She was available for all our questions, very patient and accessible, even in the evenings and during holidays! There were moments when we thought we wouldn't find anything, but she reassured us that everything would be alright, and eventually it did! :) We plan to work with Kim and VK Makelaars again in the future if we decide to buy or rent property here, and would highly recommend a collaboration with them.
