I have no opinion on the price/quality ratio. Furthermore, I can say that our real estate agent was exceptionally friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and, as it turned out in retrospect, gave the correct advice.

We hired an appraiser for the valuation of the property we purchased. He did indeed offer the sharpest price, but this came at the expense of speed and friendliness. My advice: pay a little more and choose another appraiser. You are treated very unprofessionally over the phone when you ask when the report will be ready. He then becomes angry, and he does not respond to emails.

Have an appraisal carried out by Wim Kemperman. Communication was difficult during the process and the date was repeatedly postponed. Ultimately, we were able to receive an appraisal report. The costs of the appraisal are over €500, which is a good price.

No pleasant broker. Bad photos of the property. Colors looked red! No consultation about the text on Funda. Many things just didn't add up. No clearly specified invoice. No transparency. Viewings cost €25 with him but he doesn’t indicate how many viewings he had. Strange way of working.

Wim Kemperman performed an appraisal for us. The communication was difficult; we had to supposedly chase him to get the appraisal done. Now it turns out that the appraised value deviates significantly from the asking price and purchase price. Inquiries with other real estate agents show that this rarely occurs, especially in the current market, and that Wim Kemperman therefore could not adequately assess the value of the house; there appears to be a lack of skill and knowledge about the area. So don't be tempted by the 'attractively priced' appraisal, because it can end up costing you dearly. When contacting him for an explanation regarding this appraisal, he spoke very bluntly, saying 'no explanation is possible,' and I was lectured on matters that were not applicable. Mr. [Kemperman] has his money and subsequently became unresponsive to reason. People, be warned about this real estate agent!

Coincidentally, I saw the reviews and felt that I must respond because I don't recognize myself in this at all. We haven't (yet) bought a house from Van Ons real estate agents, but we were allowed to view 3 times!! at a house in Huissen. You don't see that anymore these days. Wim took plenty of time for us and our parents and gave us the space to think quietly. He is calm and transparent and puts you at ease. We had a very pleasant experience with Van Ons Makelaars, even though it unfortunately didn't work out.

Wim is a true people person, skilled and friendly. He has invested a lot of time and energy in us and our buying and selling. Always willing to investigate something, call back, explain things etc. We are very happy with the collaboration and would definitely recommend him. Don't expect a hurried, quick young man, but a thorough broker who takes the time for you and genuinely enjoys his profession.
