We also approached Best Intermediair for the sale of our own home, where I would have liked to work with performance fees to stimulate a higher sales price. Their proposal made no sense: only 1.5% extra margin on top of €550k at sale, while the valuation was already at €550k. That's not an incentive, but simply extra earnings for the agent. A threshold of, say, €600k would have been much fairer. All in all: strange working methods, little transparency, little guidance, and those overly large boards that remain standing far too long are a thorn in the eye of the street view.
