We are expats living in Rotterdam. We finally moved in February during COVID, after having paid rent for months through another company. We are in a unique position because we have three dogs and two cats, and our first apartment was rented due to the space. Of course, it didn't work out and we were a bit desperate looking for another apartment. Laura from Amstel Housing examined our situation together with a homeowner and helped us find our current apartment, which is wonderful and offers lots of space for the dogs.
