In 1999 I bought my house through Ooms, so for me it was actually a kind of obvious to choose Ooms again for the sale in 2025. Real estate agent Marshano Birdja took care of everything incredibly well for me. My wife had passed away shortly before, and I was dreading the whole hassle regarding selling my house. Marshano did everything possible to relieve me as much as possible, and guided me very well through the entire process. He really felt how I was doing, what I wanted, and what I didn't want. Scammers of the highest order. You take a day off work to have a building inspection carried out, and they suddenly say it can't happen and must be done on a day that suits them/the selling party. Subsequently, during the building inspection, you are systematically obstructed. The crawl space, for example, was not allowed to be opened because there was a laminate floor over it. Afterwards, it became clear why they opposed this. All pipes were rotten, with leaks and sewage leaking. Also, the handover of the property empty was not fulfilled by the residents. This has all been indicated verbally to ooms but they don't respond. So do not enter into an agreement with these people.

We were helped in a pleasant and personal way with the sale of our home and would choose Ooms again.

Our house in Rotterdam was sold through Ooms Makelaars Capelle aan den IJssel. The intake went well and contact was good. It was a little confusing at first that we were partially under the Rotterdam and Capelle branch. Beautiful photos were taken by an external party (compliments to this photographer) and everything went very smoothly. In a later phase, we noticed that communication became somewhat more difficult. We didn't know what the next steps were and we wanted to put it on the market immediately, while the broker preferred to wait until after our vacation. Ultimately, we arrived at this together. During the viewings, there were two different brokers who had never seen our house beforehand and they were not completely well informed about the information regarding our house. Also, we were not immediately informed when bids were made. We only heard about it a day later after the deadline had passed. You are of course nervous and this is just not nice. This kind of information should be communicated to your client immediately. We pointed this out and they said something would be done about it in the future. Apart from the two negative points, our house was at least sold quickly and that's ultimately what it’s all about.

On a Friday, my house went on sale, and the following Tuesday it was sold subject to contract. How good are you as a real estate agent? Very good, I would say. A number of issues were not noted during the appraisal, causing the value of the property to be higher than desired. After making a remark about this, I should have indicated this beforehand. However, I was not allowed to influence the appraisal due to a conflict of interest regarding separation. Now we have to pay a significant amount for an appraisal that I do not support. Also, make an appointment with an appraiser, where the appraiser does not have her schedule in order. By this I mean an appointment on Wednesday, returning the keys to the office and hearing there that the appraisal is on Thursday. Later received apologies because the appointment was indeed on Wednesday.

Poor service. The organization schedules appointments until at least 4:30 PM and does not work after that time. Apparently, they don't want to sell anything. Reason for us not to do business with this party. One-sided flexibility is not customer-friendly and impractical.

Good agency. Excellent help and house sold quickly, definitely recommended!
